That really is an amazing watch, and I bet the price tag is also amazing.

There are many watches that cost more than a rolex. Our jewellry store had a Porsche LeMans watch in there for like $17,000.00 once. It was awesome. The little dialy thingy was on the left side of the watch instead of the right, because of cornering/G forces pushing it into the drivers skin or something like that.

They have some pretty pricey Rolexs, I have two of them but they aren't the high end ones. I bought one and got one for graduation. Cool watches if you ask me.

Actually both of my watches keep time extremely well. They have that self winding thing, they quit keeping time if you don't wear them though, but all you do is shake it and it starts back up. I'm satisfied with it.

Here they are, I know they are pretty dirty but I wear them a lot.

You are aware that there are Rolexes for upwards of $50,000 US, right? In my opinion, that's about $49,500 too much to spend on a watch, but whatever.

As for this TAG watch, I've always thought TAGs to be too expensive, and ever since the knock-offs began appearing on stupid teenagers' wrists, they will forever be ugly and tacky to me. This new one looks like a Swatch Watch (for those of you who don't know, Swatch is a watch company that specializes in wacky and unusual designs, such as showing the inner workings of their watches by using clear cases, a trend I find a tad lame). And I've never liked square- or rectangular-faced watches.

What do you all think of THIS watch, which happens to be MY dream-watch?

It's made by Chase-Durer, which supplies watches to the US Military. It's called the Trident FCX, and you can check it out in full detail on the Chase-Durer website, located here:

Look under "Pilot Watches."

I like collecting watches. But, that Tag is nothing I want to own. Bleh.

Anderton, check out breitling.com for awesome aeronautical watches. Their intro is awesome, plus the watches they display give you the correct current time. I own this model but with a black face and gold accents on the bezel. http://breitling.com/en/models/professional/aerospace/

Currently, my favorite watch to wear is my Smith & Wesson watch I received as a birthday present. This is the model I have on right now...

hmmm guess i thought i would post up this watch because it is designed with automotive technology in mind...the first belt driven watch ever created...i think its a novel design...just wanted to share with what i assumed were people who were as technology oriented as i was...guess not...delete if you wish, i could care less at this point...

I've always like the TAGs, but they were way too expensive for me. Most of the TAG Heuers I wanted were $1000 - $2000 range. I do agree with you about this "concept" watch though, it's pretty ugly(I forgot all about swatches  ). Also, I'm not impressed by that belt drive technology.

Here's the pic of the same watch I have. It's the Blue Angels watch, and I've owned it for few years now. I still haven't replaced the battery......... which is kind a weird. The theme of the design between the two watches are kinda similar.

I'm not one for wanting to spend thousands on a watch so the one that came free with a Hitachi powerdrill suits me just fine 👍

This is a pic of my watch......

Although mine is only 128MB :(

But it was 25 quid from ebay, it keeps time well, and with the chord tucked in the strap, no one can tell it is anything other than a watch.

Woah I like that watch! I think BMW has one similar to that, which I want to get but I'm pretty sure it's a little pricey. I might just have to look for one of those though.

I got that watch about a year ago. I just looked at ebay again, and they have the 512MB watches for 25 quid.

I might have to get one.

I have the same watch, only mine is the newer version with Eco-Drive technology (meaning it recharges off light power, and any light will work, not only the sun). It's all-titanium, but looks pretty similar to yours. Here's a pic:

Sort of OT - I can't remember the last time I wore a watch.... But then again, us wizards are never early, nor late, we arrive exactly at the time we mean to....

My bro has that!

I really want that watch, I've been looking for a good deal on one for about two years now. I want the non-Blue Angels one, though.

In a lower range, for under $100, they have a Limited-Edition Autobacs Racing Team Aguri (ARTA) Casio G-Shock at Autobacs, I may pick one up someday.

Paaah , who needs a watch, it shows you the time ... how

;)

I'd prefer that kind of watch....

Well, if a watch then I'd probably take this one ( ~ 400 $ ) :

There's way too much tuff on the faces of those watches Anderton Prime

I haven't worn a watch for ages, though I do have a decent one somewhere, can't remember what make it is.

Does anyone remember the Bugatti Veyron watch? Can't belive it hasn't been mentioned already.

Watches huh, I hardly ever wear them. I have an old beat-up one I wear outside that has a compass on the band and some other outdoorsy type stuff on it. If I do wear one it's my Ole Miss watch I got for Christmas.

This one:

Cheap, good quality, and it does what watches were meant to do..tell time. I don't see the need to spend thousands or even hundreds of dollars on something that tells time, I mean you could find out what time it is for free if you wanted. :dopey:
