Yet nothing about making the car hop less and not flip over from taking a corner with slightly too much steering angle? Going to be an interesting 2.4
Im hoping i will have my C license before this race rolls around since i plan to run it aswell.
thats what i thought tooDo you need a C-license to run the road warrior series? I'm pretty sure that last year anyone could run the Daytona 2.4.

Unfortunately, yes you do need a C license to run the 2.4 and the Road Warrior series.iRacing member eligibility: All members in good standing with at least a Road D 4.0 are eligible to participate in this series. You do not have to compete in all races.
I had this problem too but lowering it and setting it up right seems to fix the problem.
Overall the car handles good and don't forget the engine is on the rear axles. All the weight is on the back so all the bouncing and hops aren't that strange, only sometimes really annoying![]()
I've put about 7-9 hours into the setup at this point and have got it to stop rolling. I am on the pace of the rest of the field but the car still feels like it's bouncing WAY too much. I've watched enough sports car racing to know that a Porsche 911 does not bounce even slightly any more than any other car, and to know that a Porsche 911 should not bounce enough to cause it to two wheel quite regularly.
I thought the track version was claimed to be AWD but after re-reading the home page story it said the track was just a 500hp version and the AWD version would be released early 2014. So I assume there's a fourth one that's yet to be released and the track version is rwd? correct?
I'm loving the DP at the Glen this week for 90 minuteswatch it come out in like 5 months right after rufmania dies out. Omg that would be torture. No one loves the DP![]()
Proto Gt should stay as is. It might as well become a HPD only series. I have enjoyed racing the Ford GT in it, but most races are 5 FGT, 5 vette, and 25 HPD. Of those 25 HPD, only 12-16 have a brain and/or car control. I won 2 FGT races at Mosport, but I spent more time looking back to see who was coming than I did actually putting down laps. Road Atlanta will probably be the same way.I forgot about the gt3 series. Is there going to be the P> series again next season? I'm just getting up to my B license and I've been waiting to race the vette for a while.
They really messed with the DP on the last update, I don't know if it was with the realistic weather but many Grand AM racers in the DP have been complaining of rear end wobble that was not present before. It's not the first lap ice lap that was present before, rather some weird wobble. iRacing says they'll have it fixed for next update. At least that's what another member told me.I just hope that we finally get the V5 tires along with the new physics Tony promised almost a year ago for the DP!
I competed in 3 Ford GT races at Mosport last week. I won 2 of the three races. I was by far the fastest car in all 3, but in one of them, I was taken out not once, not twice, but three times by HPD guys. So frustratingI've done about 10 seasons of Proto/GT between the Ford and Vette and survival is absolute key, if you manage to survive and be fast just like Kamui said you'll win by miles. What I love about that series is that to be succesfull you need to learn how to read traffic and learn how to use the waves in your advantage, even on the slower cars.

Well the super duper late model comes this coming update![]()
I might be in for some SLM short track action! I haven't really run much on the oval side this season. Depends on the day/time, though. When do you guys normally run?
