I don't know which one would ensure that you get the game at the earliest possible moment, but I pre-ordered and pre-payed for GT4 a long time ago at gamestop, so I can just walk in, get the game, and walk out - no waiting in line to pay (there was a line out the door fot GTA:SA)

After all, you can either race your butt off, or sit in the transporter watching. I'm a competitor. I'm a player. I'm ready for game day when it comes to Gran Turismo. I'll do whatever I can to win, even if 2nd Place is all I can muster. I don't want to brag about bigtime victories, all golds, big completion percentages... no ego for me in Gran Turismo. So by the time I finally get Gran Turismo 4...

Exactly, but on the other side, they also had to wait so long, and US you get updates, what the **** do you think PD has been doing last three months?
If you wouldn't get updates hey would have just converted it into english(takes 3 hours max) and released it on the same date as the Japanese.
But i think the PAL version gets even a little bit more, and has better graphics(that TV stuff guys where talking about)

So I counter, I hope you (specifically you personally) do NOT get the updates either, that SCEE lied to get you to buy the damn game, and it turns out to be an RPG of the Princess Diaries. Asshole.

I think Johnhannibal might have been implying that to him, IF the addition of 10 extra cars or so are added to the PAL version (Not knowing if Dutch PS2 games are considered to be in the same region) then it would not be fair if those same added features were not included in the copies that will be sent to computer/game stores where he lives...Just as I think it's unfair for the game to have already been released in Japan and the surrounding areas MONTHS before not just the U.S., but all of Europe, Austrailia and so on and so on....I know there are certain reasons for this but I've yet to hear anything that is concrete that explains why.

I also think it's unfair to the users who have already purchased the game, that may have to suffer if problems are encountered during game play that either Sony or PD may have known about before actually releasing the game, but decided to fix for the U.S. and/or PAL regions.

So, before jumping on this guys back & calling him names, put yourself in his shoes & remember that he's from a country where ENGLISH is not his 1st language...and attempting to express his opinions may not come off like it was intended to!

Common don't you even know where Holland lies??, off course its in the PAL region or else: We already got it: Japanese region, or we would get it on the 22nd and there wouldn't be any b i t c h i n g here, since there are only three regions. So yes its PAL

And psMost)Dutch people are know for speaking English, French, German and ofcourse Dutch fluently, cause we get it from 4th junior grade. So i dont know where that guy is worried about, cause i think the Belgium system won't be very different to ours.

The PAL release date is 09 march 05 for pre orders and 11 march for game stores, but everyone here is talking about the US release so the PAL release is forgotten.

Same thing just happened to me. I was in the mall an hour ago. EB told me the 23rd and Gamestop told me 22nd. By that they meant "in store dates". I'm not sure how desperate I'll be on the 22nd so I have it reserved at both places. Not much of a problem to get my 5 bucks back from either store.
