I just noticed a few times updated now in the TT Rankings, mainly Japanese (seen a Canadian and US GTP-timeattack too), looks like they still can register their best laps while we can't :grumpy:

Maybe because their times don't matter for the GT Academy contest, as they aren't eligible. 💡

I guess so but, holy ****!, I was 27th in the global pad, same number as Gilles Villeneuve..., now I'm 28th and everything's ****ed up! :mad: :lol:
 
It was because our (US/Canada) TT ended after most other regions because of our time zone. But remember also that we got the demo like a day and half after everyone else did back in December so it all evens out. I also noticed that the global leader board was not updating for a while last night, but it seems to be updated now, maybe that's what you are seeing too.

Maybe in US and Canada it's over but in Japan they're still updating their times. Apparently they want Takeuchi back to 1st place :lol:
 
I remember Gilles from his Formula Atlantique days; always remembered.

I can still do the demo time trial but you are reminded that the times can not be recorded on leader list (not that I could improve the necessary 3 seconds!).

Any idea how many Canadians competed in the GT5 TT demo?

Over 5G's for sure, I ranked up there on my first normal run.
 
So my 437th placing in Canada is not bad for a first time trial I suppose.

I will have to try posting some GT5p lap times; especially Suzuka being so much fun to drive.

I usually race online in the expert field just because I like the pro physics and competition (currently the Fugii 800 max point/tune).

Come on guys be glad most of you actualy stands a chance of getting someting .. there are some guys " like us in ZA " that does not even get looked at .. even if we have a couple of guys in the top 100

Im lying 8th in my country and any getting squat, we dont even get an invite to round 2 !?

Set your PS3 to a date before 24th Jan and your times will be registered again. 👍 :D

I don't get you, what did I say? Do you think I used the word "Asian" as a racial slur? Nothing farthest from truth.

I had fun with this demo, seeing that Japanese guys are still updating their times I thought it would be fun racing with them just a little bit more, even if Gt Academy is over.

So, if anyone is interested, go to Settings/Date and Time Settings/Date and Time, set the date back do December or early January and you'll be able to have your laps improvements registered as it was before the expiry date.

I doubt I'll better my times though :lol:

Because the demo is still open to play and changing the time on your ps3 won't affect the leaderboards since those times are coming from the server, not your ps3, am I wrong?
I thought you were joking about doing this, but now I see that you are serious.

Btw I just created a French account to download Ti-tech tuned-car ghost, while I was there did a few laps following him - as "feschkeur", it appears in the tuned rankings as 182°

Maybe they didn't notice yet, maybe it won't last long but now you still can register your times.
