It provides good fun. Although Xbox Live!´s support is better, sony online is free of charge.

I know. I'm a live subscriber and I've played Socom 2 and Toca 2 on my PS2.

I really can't complain about something that's free. 👍

it's a waste for me but I think it's like $40 or $50, on ebay it's about $30

It's amazing sony doesn't charge for getting online. It's extremely rare for a company to not SCREW the consumer and provide only prue enjoyment. That's why I have and will only have a Playstation.

It's free, but it ain't pure enjoyment from what I've experienced (other than those 2 games I mentioned.). Logically, there's a reason it's free. But, like admiring killzone, if you like it that's great for you.

If I had a choice between the two, and had to pick just one, I'd take xbox live, because it is definitely worth the 80 bucks I spent on it (came with a free game too). It's simply a much better, more intuitive, more solid, and more fully-featured service. And since you're a paying customer, technical support actually try to give a **** about your problems.

Enjoy it while you can, cause you can bet your ass that Sony's going to be charging premium prices for the next go-round (playstation 3). And I'll be glad, because they'll be able to offer a good service.

I just got my NA and I created a game, called "killzone" and it's a team deathmatch at beachhead. My alias is blacbird [no it's spelled correctly, I mispelled black]. If anyone is intersted I woujld be happy of you to join.:)

You know you can create another char right?

And Killzone servers are pretty full these days. I joined yesterday and there were more than 800 people playing. It´s a record I guess, but it doesn´t even comes close to Socom II average of 17000 players.

It's ok code_kev I've learned to ignore you like many people do.:)

Anyhow Killzone is great online untill you play with cheaters. Other then that I like it alot. It's too bad I don't have a head set or keyboard. Aw well. Does anyone want to play online?

Is that you are online and you want to play or I don't want to play and I'm not going killzone online either?

It's ok blackbird, I've also learnt that some people do actually think average games are great. :)

Oh oh oh this is where you mention Halo 2 in a "whitty" come back, or act as if you've found a contradiction I made, sadly blind to the fact that half the stuff I've said is a joke! 👍

I do actually think it looks like an OK game.

No I don't I'm too busy playing Killzone Online. Plus XBOX costs money for online so that brings Halo 2 down because it costs money to play online, Microsoft's fault or not.

I play it online for nothing, Xbox connect. Just saying. See you paid monkey for a net adaptor to play a worse game, and me? I paid the outlay for the game only, and I'm playing it online, with more players, and it's better! See I win! ;). I'm only messing about :)

Educate me[probably a fluke anyway]

Anyway i'm going to play multiplayer on my new XBOX in halo 2 with a friend and see how it fairs, but don't expect for it to be better then killzone. Killzone is more... real. I'm not really that interested into fantasy or sci-fi games but I only bought it because I thought Halo rocked and Killzone wasn't out yet. I also asked for Halo 2 on my XMAS list before I even was introduced to Killzone.

blackbird, read about it online, the online features for halo 2 are IMPRESSIVE for a console game. The true online mode for halo 2 is simply fantastic.

I have X-Box Live and had it before I got my PS2 and I got done playing Killzone online and all I thought was that PS2 online was just like playing a PC online and I don't really like that.

Well you can't expect too much from free online gaming. Now what is better? XBOX Connect or Xlink? Are there lots of players on XBC since you cannot play with Live players if you use XBC. KeV?
