Halo and Halo 2 are the biggest overhyped pile of crap I've ever played, If Killzone lacks a real story, Halo 2 more than makes up for it in lacking a real ending.

Wow, so I got a copy of this game and started playing it but god damn I suck ass at it. I'm so used to FEAR. It's comical.

edit: Good god I love the shot gun! The second game in deathmatch single player I was on top. :D

Press R1+R2 at the same time and you'll be guarenteed a kill from even mid-range. (Shotgun)

Personally liked Park Terminal. Loved taking that rocket launcher and blasting someone across the bridge. :D

I also just picked up a copy of it. Times before that I played it was my friends copy. I figured I'd just pay the $20 for a brand new copy and have fun with it. ;)

yeah, I absolutely loved it when it first came out so I had to get it. :D Do you have a network adaptor? We could play online if I can figure out how to set mine up. :dopey:

I'm doing well, everytime I've done a battle I've come out on top. Must be FEAR that helped! :sly: :mischievous:

Yeah I got a network adaptor. I got it plugged into the back of my PS2. Only problem is that I cant figure out how to get it to work with my router.

Thats what I hoped for with mine but it seems it requires alittle more than that. At least for me anyways. :(

Thx. Happened to run across it on my other harddrive. ;)

Well... since my room is wirelessly connected I have to disconnect my PS2 then take out the ethernet port out of my parents computer and setup my PS2 in my parents bedroom. Making it not 24/7 accessible since they like to watch TV alot in their own room.

I would've purchased this game in a heart beat, but didn't, because the woman "stealth" character wasn't a playable character from the beginning. Plus, the sniper rifle she uses sucked so bad, I thought, "No way I'm putting up with this piece of crap all game long!"

Too bad, 'cause it looked great.

Also, if you get headaches with FPS' you'll want to stay away from this one. The frame rate is pretty low.

She came into the game quite early (second character?). And her snifle was the best gun in the game IMO.

Yeah, I understand she came quite early in the game, but that still did me no good. I played the demo, and couldn't get anywhere with the other two guys. I got my ass beat pretty bad. Plus, the other characters move too quickly, and like FAB said, this game would give me headaches. I'm not great with FPS. That Black game looks great, but there's no way I could play a game like that. :indiff:

Yeah, if you shoot with headshots using the R2 trigger instead of the R1 to fire you could rack up a lot of silent kills.

I believe this game is very underrated. It might not be a halo killer simply because the online PS2 system sucks, but I enjoyed the feel of the game. It's a pretty straight forward shooter, but it is good at what it does. I didn't enjoy playing this game any less than Half Life 2, which does have more eye candy, but that is because of the hardware.

I'm dusting off and old fart.... heh.

I got the demo for this game again, since OPM is having trouble finding game demos to fill their demo discs with, thanks to the PS3, no doubt. I hope November demo disc comes with a PS3 game demo. That would be so awesome. Anyway, ...

So, I never bought this game, even though I kind of was planning on doing so. I still can kick ass with Marshall (Luger), thanks to her R2 silenced shots. It's just so awesome. Too bad her Sniper Rifle sucks.

But, I've gotten use to playing as Jan Templar, who I believe you play first as, before you get to play as Marshall. I'm not sure. Is it true?

So, I think I'll pick this one up, now. I think I can enjoy it so long I can play as Jan from the start and then switch to Marshall once she becomes available. But, can you switch characters in the middle of a game? At the levels, maybe?

Anybody still playing this online or from time to time? Got the demo, again, like me?

My brother bought Killzone a few weeks ago, and although I liked it, I lost interest pretty quickly. Only played it 3-4 times in the end.
