So, has anyone achieved anything with the 512BB? Might give it a try soon.

Yes, I have won this race many times with a fully modded 512BB on racing softs. I won on sport softs aswell but I JUMPED the final two chicanes.

Have run this several times at La Sarthe. Real easy $$$. Ran the 599, Enzo & 458 through this one several times each. Noticed there are NO standard Ferraris in the game, correct me if I'm wrong.

All the Ferraris are premiums. Which surprised me a bit, as I thought the Enzo and the Veyron would be at similar quality levels from PSP to GT5 (for no good reason, I guess).

it's easy for me to finish all the race with my 458 than with an enzo

I can easily place 2nd or 3rd at la Sarthe with a stock 458 and 599 and Enzo, depending if there are 2 Enzo's in the field. It takes a little modding for me to get a win here.

Toscana is a blast in a California. I lose to the Enzo on the straights but kill them in the corners. I noticed that the AI tends to spin out here quite a bit but never at la Sarthe.

It's time the a.i. spins off track for a change, they are overdue :)
I'll go to Toscane, have a look right now! -LOL-

One of the races that I did today at Toscana the 11th place 512BB was facing the other direction after the first turn. On the next lap the lead Enzo did the same thing. I was a little shocked to see the Enzo so deep in the field when I caught up to him.

LOL I crashed into something, probably a car that spun of, i didn't noticed at first because of the dust it created. Very funny stuff, hopefully next time there be more so we could have a chain collision.
nice tip mate 👍

I wish toscana was a sunset track like the lambo seasonal had.

Why is it a 650 PP limit? Can any production Ferrari even reach 650 PP?

I wish toscana was a sunset track like the lambo seasonal had.

I saw funny crash there. A Lambo spun in front of me and i drove UNDER him.
I find it hard to see the road in Toscane, because of the hills (i use cockpit cam) in the dark the visibility gets even harder. Though i find it amusing, i wouldn't mind to have brighter headlights.

Yes, the track is very difficult in the dark, particularly due to elevation changes. I think it would be even harder if the headlights were a bit more realistic (no complaint here).

You have to learn the track and then race it half-blind, which creates a lot of tension. Reminds me of the Nurburgring 24 hr layout endurance race, which in the weather at night is the most tension you'll have on a PS3 this side of Demon Souls.

Finally golded the entire event in the F40. Got damn it was a lot of work, freaking car is so violent and I am such a bad driver... and with a controller, which equals to lots of out-of-control stuff, it was very hard to find a tune that worked for Autumn Ring, I was really starting to rip my hair off.

Incredibly, Toscana was easy... but because everyone spun. I really had fun watching the Enzo in a cloud of smoke. I drove horribly the entire race, never having been there before, and golded it with like 5 seconds. I'll go back there and try to, you know, more or less race.

And of course, back to grinding La Sarthe in the F40. I don't plan on buying another Ferrari. Maybe the 512.

Cano, if you add me, I've got a lot of Ferraris shared that are easy to win this event with. My 599 and Scud practically win so long as you stay off the wall. Why wouldn't you buy these other Ferraris? The Italia is the best money you can spend in the game, aside from a GTR.

BTW, look at F40 tunes. At least take an LSD tune if you're having trouble with controlling that car. If you got golds in all these events, you're potentially a good driver and probably just need practice if you're frustrated.

haha, because I don't like Ferraris at all, much less modern Ferraris, and even less so the Italia. I just don't like the marke. But the old savage ones are awesome, that is why I settled with the F40 as my choice car for this challenge, it's the only Ferrari included that I really like aside from the 512, which isn't capable of winning frankly, much less at my hands, and the race cars... and DAMN it cost me, but yes, I have golded all the events in this monster.

And yes, the LSD completely changes the way the car drives, it was a big part of the tune up for each track, as well as suspension damping rates. I practically had to move every parameter for each track to make it more or less driveable, even with soft slicks. But it was good fun, indeed.

EDIT: Meh, eventually I'll give up and buy them, but there are LOTS MORE CARS right now that I want to get my hands on other than the prancing donkeys.

The F40's my favorite Ferrari as well. It's only nominally a road car, much like the R390 road car is basically a race car with turn signals thrown on.

Don't give up on that 512 sorta-boxer. It's a fundamentally good car.

with enzo (fully upgraded, default tune), easy win. just pay attention to the throttle during corner exit

with 458 italia (fully upgraded, default tune), win with comfort margin, but no room for mistake (spin etc)

i'm with DS3, with all aids off and am just a below-average driver

I love driving the Ferraris. Of real surprise to me was the California...At the same PP it wipes the floor with the 599...

This seasonal has given me an excuse to buy 3 of each Ferrari...One car stock, one car mildly upgraded (Stage1weight, Racing chip, Racing clutch/flywheels, Sport exhaust), and one maxed out. The 458 is the only one I've been able to win with stock (S3), but almost all can win with mild upgrades.

Speaking of maxed out Ferraris...I'm finding it VERY hard to tune these modern Ferraris and get a better driving car than simply keeping the stock tranny and suspension while upgrading power/reducing weight.

Hmmm.

I think this grinding format lends itself perfectly to tuning. Le Mans is not a difficult track. Aim for speed and turn carefully. Every lap, you get a break to adjust the car. Do it one little thing at a time. Usually, you'll make the car worse and learn what not to do.

The real key to tuning is to drive consistently, so I guess before you start, make sure you can do ten laps within a second of eachother. Memorize braking points and just get the driving right, and then start adjusting the car. 100 laps later and you'll probably know how to tune a care pretty well, and also have earned a ton of money and bought lots and lots of cars.

Yea well, remembering is a challenge on it's own, i've a fish memory of 6 seconds -LOL-
But Toscany's nice track imo.
No complaints about Nürnburg (a.o.) iether but on Nürnburg i'd like the race to be for beginners, or i'm hopelessly last. :scared:
LaSarthe (nice track too btw) is a bit bumpy, that can create problems but is a good testing ground for creating suspension settings. :)

Now you mention it, i remember the (stock) California to be an easy drive, don't know if it whipe the floor (isn't 599 much lighter?) but i wouldn't be surprised if it won the race between them (perhaps even with little bit less PP).

This seasonal has given me an excuse to buy 3 of each[/QUOTE]👍

Since I've never driven an Enzo, I went and bought one, put some sport softs on it, and completed the last two events with it. Wow, what a blast. I just don't understand why it gets such a bad rep on these forums.

don't need the Enzo. Buy the SP1 that car is a charm to drive and it handle much better than the Enzo.

The SP1 is the same as the F430...💡
If funds are limited, then you'd be better off with the Scuderia or 458 italia

All the eligible Ferrari's can win this race (I tried every one). Even the 512, when tuned can get past the Enzo(s); depending on your driving skill, you may need to cut the last couple of chicanes, though.

I probably would've liked the Enzo more if I'd never driven an Italia, or a 430 Scuderia, an MP4-12C or ... any mid-engined car really.

I'm gonna try putting an LSD on the Enzo to see if it'll help with the understeer.

^Agreed^ I've done this as well. The 512 is one of the most fun cars to use here, imo.

I find the Enzo rather neutral, if not just a slight amount of understeer.

And with that much horsepower, it's very easy to persuade the tail to turn. :sly:

IMO, it really needs to be driven with SS tyres though, as anything less will turn the experience into a frustration, but that goes for any car of its class.

Has anyone attempted this in a stock Enzo on sports soft? I can get second milliseconds off the pace :/

Just beat Enzo on La Sarthe. Didn't have to cut the last 2 chicanes but I still won with a 3:55.488 and beat the Enzo by 2 1/2 seconds. Good race,l lots of fun and excitement for a seasonal.
