I do agree to a certain point. Winamp 2.9 is more stable than 3 and it doesn't take near the resources, but Winamp 3 can be soooooo much more puurrddierer

The purpose of Winamp is to play MP3s, not to look like a piece of eye candy on your desktop.

I'm still using the Winamp 2.9 base skin.
