Test Render #3
To do list:
-replace the boring black background with a nice sky & maybe add a sun/flare from it
-work like hell on the reflections for some of these buildings. I'm considering replacing the cube/wireframe idea I currently have with slightly bent planes. That would allow for a bit more variation in reflection & it won't look 100% flat
-work like hell on lighting
-reduce the size of/remove the logo. If i remove, it will have a watermark of my name in a corner on it later
Render time - 15 minutes @ draft quality
Material maps used - Pure raytracing with absolutely zero mapping. I want to see what i can do before pulling out some reflection maps
Time to make - a couple hours
When it will be done - I'll continue work next friday after my very last exam
I got the inspiration for the main building's design after watching something on discovery channel. I'm thinking of changing the building's color to something darker and much more reflective.
What do you think so far?
