An example of what? I'd like to know who this person was that didn't get the car they wanted and then declared it the worst game ever.It was an example. I didn't directly say you said that either.

I concede defeat. An example of what? I'd like to know who this person was that didn't get the car they wanted and then declared it the worst game ever.
What's really amusing in regards to the ride height is that they got it wrong in GT5, fixed it to a degree, then turn around and make the very same mistake in GT6.What's even more hilarious is, they had help/support from K&W and they still couldn't get the suspension physics right.
Same with the tires and their partnership with Yokohama. I'm beginning to wonder if they even have a clue. Like you have said, they have 15 years of experience in doing this, you would think they could at least get the basics right. Tuning a car in this game is just a joke in my opinion. PD has made themselves look like fools more than once, all the while claiming to be "The Real Driving Simulator". If it wasn't for the Academy and also the friends I have made here in GT, I'd been gone a long time ago. I'm just about ready to say 🤬 it anyway.
If anything, it can be referring to the VW VGT 2.
The most likely scenario is that Lucas is providing feedback on the dynamics of the Nissan GT-R LM Nismo. Why would he be required to test a Course Creator? I assume that would be handled in-house by PD's team of testers.
I will stick to the GT-R LM Nismo which we wil probably see as he final round of GT Academy this year.
I knew when I typed that I would get a response. You didn't let me down @GTP_CargoRatt!They have those?I wasn't aware that they tested anything before putting it out.

Testers? Could have fooled me, I'll be damned.

I've boarded the hype train for Project CARS. Seats are still available.
(As expected, nothing to see here. PD productive = more VGT videos)
PC architecture is easier to program with, but at the same time games are far bigger in scope and more complex than ever and in the grand scheme of things the overall programming effort keeps getting bigger and bigger, not smaller. If you've ever read the build notes for PCars, it's insane that amount of work they do in a day or two and the number of different items they touch on in each and every build.@Lain I'm not going rule out the possibility of an E3 reveal. It seems likely.
***BEWARE OF SPECULATION & ASSUMPTIONS HERE***
The PS4, since it's hardware is way different to the PS3's in a good way and it apparently results in quicker development turn-around times. Paired-up with the now growing employee count at PD and Kaz's recent statements , I wouldn't be surprised if we'll have a COMPLETE GT7 by mid next year. End of 2015 is pushing it but I'm expecting delays as well. PS4 seems to be keeping the spirit of delays alive.
/END SPECULATION
I keep wondering to myself what PD has planned. Particularly since the competition has stepped its game up (Lol, puns..)
Guess we'll have to wait and see.
It depends on just how far they decide to go with GT7.
For instance, they could be "well, the course editor we tried to make for GT6 will be a (relative) snap to implement on the PS4... let's do it!" or they could be "well, the course editor we tried to make for GT6 will be a snap to implement on the PS4... so why settle for just what we had planned? Let's make it even more complex and ambitious!!!"
Lets deconstruct his tweet and translate:
Another long and productive day at Polyphony studio = so this is not a one time deal, he has done it before and will continue working...
with more testing and development = so whatever this is, it is still not done , not completed and not yet ready for reveal...
for something really big! = whatever this is... it must be entirely new or something we all have been waiting for a long time...
2morrow [Japanese] MotorSportevent = might not even be related to his testing and contribution at PoDi...
I will let the hyper train take its course from here...

Speaking of the tire deal they have I'm shocked that after 15 years they still ignore air pressure, but that may be a good thing as one can only imagine what kind of absurdities would come along with air pressure tuningWhat's really amusing in regards to the ride height is that they got it wrong in GT5, fixed it to a degree, then turn around and make the very same mistake in GT6.What's even more hilarious is, they had help/support from K&W and they still couldn't get the suspension physics right.

It could likely be for the final round of GT Academy.1.18 wouldn't have been what Lucas was involved with over the weekend since the process for approving game updates takes somewhere in the range of 2 weeks to complete through Sony.
I'm hoping for it to be revealed next month. But, I've heard this for the first time now. Can I get the source, please?Like stated, it's either for the final round, or GT7. still think it's GT7 which was rumored to be revealed next month.
