It seems PD put so much effort into this with the live broadcast of the rebuild and all, it's a shame it was a one and done event.

It's by no means my favorite car, but it just seemed like a waste of resources when there is so much yet to be done.

Yeah, it was more of a novelty. It was cool because it was something new, but tbqh I didn't really enjoy the event at all. It's a very slow car on a not very interesting track. Great project to make the car again for Andretti, and a nice movie too, but resources wise, I would've rathered something else.

I would've liked to have seen the STP Hawk Ford he won Indy in and maybe his Daytona 500-winning '67 Ford Fairlane Stock car, with vintage versions of Daytona and Indianapolis being included. His '94 Texaco Indycar would've also been a nice addition... or Panoz LMP900 Roadster.

His championship-winning F1 Lotus and vintage Fuji would've also been nice.

That would probably be my Top 5.

Especially as a Classic Team Lotus license appears to be PD's for the 87T.

Mario Andretti DLC pack anyone?

I think there needs to be more Ayrton Senna/Mario Andretti type events which tell the stories of drivers, especially greats that we've lost over time, through pictures and their cars.

There would be some difficulty with F1 drivers that only raced F1 (and didn't race for Lotus), but excluding them there's still a lengthy list of drivers who raced in very interesting cars who's stories deserve to be heard in my opinion.

I compiled a list of potentials I'd like to see (bold being my preferred)...

Helle Nice (The least accomplished on the list, but the way her career, and ultimately life, ended is such a tragedy I think she deserves to have her story told to people who don't even know she existed).
Juan Manuel Fangio
Stirling Moss
Jack Brabham
Jim Clark
AJ Foyt
Phil Hill
Dan Gurney
Richard Petty
Jack Brabham
Jochen Rindt
Peter Brock
Jacky Ickx
Graham Hill

Walter Rohrl
Dale Earnhardt
Michele Mouton

Carlos Sainz
Colin McRae
Jeff Gordon
Michael Schumacher
Tony Stewart
Dan Wheldon

F1 Drivers who might be difficult to license:
Alain Prost
Niki Lauda
Jackie Stewart

Schumacher would be nearly impossible to licence as all of his F1 cars will be covered by the FOM licence. You could possibly get a Kart, A Sauber LM car and his Black FXX and some kind of junior formula, but two of those are basically already in game.

Also I'm pretty certain McRae is tied up in the DIRT franchise, even if it no longer carries his name. If that can be overcome however, I think most of his cars could be added reasonably easily. PD already have standard versions of some cars he drove (Subaru Impreza and Ford Focus WRCs).
I'd like to see one of his earliest cars (possibly his Mini?) his championship winning Subaru and Ford, then either his Dakar car or LeMans Ferrari and of course his R4

His Ferrari's should be easier right? After all the F2007 and F10 were in GT5 and were licensed thru Ferrari themselves if I'm not mistaken?

Even though they'd come from Ferrari themselves, I think those cars still fall under FOM rules, unless they find a loophole that they can license the cars through.

Makes me wonder how they were able to avoid getting sued by WRC or equivalent organization when they had included rally cars. Same can be done for open-wheelers?

Whenever PD gets the Porsche license they should bring a wet LeMans race in the 917 To commemorate Pedro Rodriguez. Whoever can slide all four for a couple of hours without crashing wins
