The sound, The Power and the Thrill.
This is not just an amazing car, but an iconic piece of motoring history.
This car is fun to drive and it sounds AMAZING!!

I've had my Stealth Model since Day 1 and it's been great since then. Gotten me out of so many sticky situations...did the GT All Stars for me, and half of Like the Wind. Still holds the record for my closest win ever of 0.001 seconds on Indy Like the Wind...and of course, that scream you always get in the background never disappoints. Only real let down is the stock tranny really (which makes it even harder to believe I won Like the Wind Indy with it...).

Its understeer-ey

I beg to differ, particularly when coming out of corners. It's quite wild then for me...

i agree is an awesome car, people who say all the cars in this game sound the same clearly havent used this car.

Truly a marvelous machine, yes. The only thing that keeps me from taking it out more often is the blatant loop of the engine sound at high revs.

Like C-Zeta, I got the stealth model when I first got the game. Used it in the All Stars and Like the Wind but is dearest to my heart for winning the Jag in the Indy 500.

Yes, the engine sound is scary. Imo the best in the whole game. :dopey:👍

Some days after the release I've pulled the car out online. The host was busy voice chatting with his mates... until I passed him & pressed the throttle. From there on it was totally silence, won the race, 2nd was a Minolta. :D

Lost some seconds because I had to laugh hard about his reaction.

Amazing car with its mad sounding rotary engines.

GT5 lap of Spa in the 787B:

Apologies for the 'Controller battery' message spoiling the cockpit view half-way round :guilty:

I loved it in GT4 and I love it even more in GT5. I've had the Stealth model since the beginning but I still went and bought the original liveried one just so I had 2 787B's. :D

I enjoy driving the 787B. The engine sound is one of the most unique specialties in GT5, of course. The roar it produces is total ear-drumming pleasure. The handling is wild for my driving style, though. It fishtails whenever possible, and requires great throttling care. But as someone mentioned, some tuning will remove those characteristics. This monster on wheels also helped me progress through A-Spec, and the original is still in my garage to this date. One of the events it helped is the Indy 500. It was a complete joy to drive -- and won me 1st -- during the time on the event. I wonder how the Stealth Model will perform...

Agree with every positive comment on this monster. The quadruple-rotor motor is unique and suspension settings may make its handling perfect too. Not that it is bad when you warm up tires. This vehicle is IMHO between the all-time 10 most legendary cars.

Haha quadruple-rotor motor best thing

Was my favorite car in gt4 and one of my favorites in gt5, as far as premium cars go its the one ive done the most mileage with
Great sound
Great speed
Looks great
And one of the best interior views in the game

All in all i agree 100 % great car :)

It's one of my favorite cars to drive 👍 Though I do wish it sounded better:

The significance of this lap by Herbert is so much more that most people realize, Most of you were either very young and some of you were not even born yet when this car went to LeMans in 1991 and annihilated the competition. So for that car to turn it's wheels again in that most hallowed ground is something special.
Funny how many people who play the game will choose this car over some of the more modern cars just for it's sheer beauty and grace.
