It's a weird looking car, but I'm actually loving it! It has a retro feel going on that I can't explain. And what a surprise to see it will have a real engine, instead of one million cell phone batteries powering the wheels.

Don't like the wheels, but I guess that not only it will be impossible to change them, but also any other wheel would interfere with the design.

Ok i really like this One better then that other one :)
Wow, just wow!

Thats a great looking concept car. Thank god it has no hybrid or electrical system as its engine.

Curious about its sounds though :D (we all know that PD does miracles in this)

I really like it. If it were ever produced, I think the 30" wheels being toned down with some reasonable lights would make for a great exotic.

Yeah, I hope the bulk of DLC doesn't consist of crappy concept cars like the Merc above. I want to see real life production cars, not visions of the future which may or may not come into existence (just look at the Jaguar C-X75)
Please don't mention the CX75, I'll cry.

A. They are free.
B. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
C. Free DLC.
D. No one else in any game on the planet will have them.
E. Zero cost.
F. We have 1000+ other cars to drive.
G. No charge.
H. It has a custom sound package put together by Mercedes engineers.
I. Completely gratis.

A- That's good, didn't realize they would be free.
B- Absolutely and I'm only calling them crappy from my pov.
C- All DLC is free or just the Vision GT cars?
D- Not too bothered about that
E- That's the main thing.
F- Very true and I'll be getting stuck in to those
G- Ace
H- Not bothered
I- Ace No. 2

If I see a rich dude driving that I'll carjack him. I don't care about the police mad at me, that ride looks sick!

It's funny how to the masses the Mona Lisa is "ugly" & "boring" but to a connoisseur of fine art it's a masterpiece.

If this is what we can expect out of Vision GT then I say bring it on!

A- Yup all GTV cars are free, part of the 15th Anniversary gift to us from Kaz.
B- Fair enough.
C- Just GTV for sure, some other DLC might or might not be free. Some in GT5 was.
...ah well you know the rest...:D

Looks ALOT like a hot wheels that came out in 2002 called Ballisik, again not identical but the body shape and rear are freaky similar..

I had a Ballisik once, had to take pills for it:lol:

I think it looks decent and with what Mercedes/AMG have said, it's shaping up to have decent sounds too! Best of all - free. Thanks PD, this is the kind of DLC I am okay with :3

Very none contemporary and bold design. I like it so far. Can't wait to test drive it. And it's suppose to have it's own sound sample too.

I think its a nice car in terms of art and the time they've put into the exhaust. (or so they say) but in terms of a car looking nice. I don't think it is.

As an art piece... yeah its nice and intersting.

As a car....no

In the end though its a great edition to the gt series. :)

The only thing I love/like about this car other than the rear with the rising wing, but the "engineering" underneath the car is what I adore, just not the aesthetics

@sayba2th I wouldn't call any car real or fictitious in that past couple years a work of art (well maybe the Pagani's) on par with a work from Da Vinci or Rembrandt. They are amazing especially from a fellow engineering perspective...

I love this car already...

Just having in mind the weight and power...

"The AMG V8 biturbo engine delivers an exceptionally agile response to even the smallest movements of the accelerator. It develops 430 kW (585 hp) and a maximum torque of 800 Nm. With an aluminium spaceframe body and components in carbon fibre, the material of choice in motor racing, the Mercedes‑Benz AMG Vision Gran Turismo tips the scales at only 1385 kilograms. That amounts to around 2.4 kilograms per hp – an unrivalled figure in the super sports car segment, and one that guarantees exceptionally dynamic performance. Excellent deceleration values and fade resistance at the highest level are ensured by the AMG ceramic high-performance composite braking system. The AMG sports exhaust system with eight tailpipes integrated into the rear end provides a powerful accompaniment whenever the car accelerates, and ensures an unrivalled motorsports sound experience. For fans of Gran Turismo® 6, the Mercedes-AMG sound specialists have created a powerful, sonorous exhaust note that authentically celebrates the V8's love of high engine speeds."

An incredible beast.

That thing looks so sexy!!! I hope it drives as good as it looks. Can't wait to drive it eitherway

What is it with these forums, complaints etc, every time I read the comments on new gt6 stuff a load of numpties are sticking the boot in. This car is awesome, it looks the dogs nuts, can't wait to drive it AND its free...its a win win for me.
Personally I love concept cars, the whole point of a concept car is looking into the future, that can be design or new technology and materials, i'm buzzing for GT6, I got no complaints

The article says: "For fans of Gran Turismo® 6, the Mercedes-AMG sound specialists have created a powerful, sonorous exhaust note that authentically celebrates the V8′s love of high engine speeds." So let's just hope that after going through GT6's filters the sound will be the way the Merc sound specialists intended it to be.

Or we can hope that the Merc sound guys tell them how to actually do it, and thus saving the day and all GT sounds. And then I woke up from my dream.

I have a feeling it's going to sound like the SLS AMG in GT5 with a little more base, nothing "OMG it sounds amazing!" worthy.
