Actually, it didn't do a thing, now there's just a big mess under the arena where the TNT blew up everything except the obsidian :p

 
I don't know if this is a bug, glitch, or a both...but this is how I sit on my stairs after a big 3 days of making the Speef-areana:

BTW: New Speef-arena up now. Just destroy the dirt blocks, and the other competitors will drop to the lower floor. No one dies here. Which is a good thing. Have fun!

EDIT: NUUUUUUU Seriously, it made things SOO easy when I was making the Spleef-arena, I stuffed up the staircase and just blew it up, made things easy. PLUS with my now focus on finishing the mob spawner/killer I need an easy way to dig out the 120 x 120 x 6 🤬 blocks that make it up.

TNT is a griefers dream, so no.

As for the arrow, it's the Chair mod that allows you to sit in chairs. However, it broke as of 1.6 and now you sit on an arrow!
 
Riiight, ok. Cool...well...not really, arrows = caloses on rear end... but meh. :p

And with the small community of this server atm and the greifing seeming to be under control, then why not keep it going for some time until the numbers grow, then disable it when the heat picks up...
but do as you wish, not trying to argue or anything. :)

I suppose so.

But as soon as I see holes in things, it's getting disabled again.
 
I have one legit made TNT, and I don't really know what I'm planning on doing with it, but griefing is not in my repertoire.
 
You can always place it like this in a mine.
X=TNT
o= Stone
A=Air(empty block space)

oooo
oXAo
oooo

Punch the TNT, place the stone block next to the air, and it will make an almost even 3x3x3 hole.
 
Just looking at the simplewarp plugin. I think it would be pretty handy.

Hey Dunc you can look at this plugin. I use this to spawn items; makes it very easy and you can spawn more than 64.

@rhys159: If need to ask for it to be turned to day.
 
It would require rebooting the server and I think everyone prefers having them on. If there's a mod online he/she can make it day for you.

Ubuntu is installing now :)

Just need to find a wireless adapter now so I don't have a 10m network cable stretched along my flat!
 
I'm sure I've got a few lying around. Just need to find one and then get it working.

You can join and look around, but you won't be able to build until Dunc approves you, which might be soon as he's working with the server right now!
 
haha, I'm amazed at how it's come out, great idea Nick even though the original idea was not to be a monkey specifically but still, looks great and much better than the old place 👍
 
Sometimes world holes are not completely ugly. This one gave a nice cross section view of the DQ palace.

on another note, i keep getting a timeout (java timeout or somthing similar to that). any thoughts? (by the way, I've tried it's happened at two different locations on different conncetions)
 
I get java crashing every now and then. It happens.

Also, I made a speedy Minecart ride:

Just go through the front door of my tower, go up the left-side staircase, and at the top I got 81 minecrarts free to use! Please turn the switch off after you are done. :)

EDIT: I also got more plans later on for another ride. ;)
