i have just phoned amazon they said gt5 will be sent out tomorrow and i will recieve it wednesday im sure it will be the same for you lot :P
 
it's becoming preety annoying to be honest... if they knew such a release was coming they should double shift people yesterday to send them to people, like me, who want their game NOW!!! :crazy:
 
I can't believe it, my order from Amazon UK has arrived...2 days EARLY!!!

They messed up my pre-order from July, so I called them and complained. They gave me a £5 discount and it looks as though the chap I spoke to put me on the top of the pile. :sly:

Installing it right now...50 mins...want to play NOW!
You won't hear from me for a couple of weeks.

What type of delivery is that I'm due too get mine tommorow (however noone is in in the morning so i might not actually get it) and I ordered it next day delivery for a pound extra.


Edit: I live in Surrey.
 
Gran Turismo 5 tomorrow! Absolutely no chance of fail, pre-ordered with GAME and Play...both dispatched a couple of days back. Plus GAME is next-day as well.

Can-not wait.
 
Nothing from Amazon.co.uk yet. not even order processed. Pre ordered in the 1st week of being on amazon too. I best get it for release day as i got that day off wok just for it.

Otherwise do any shops do the collectors edition that i can get on launch day.

I placed a preorder for Gran Turismo 5 on 04/10/2010, at the time of order I was gauranteed to receive the item on release day. However, it is now 2 days before release (24/11/2010) and I have still not received a dispatch notice. Various people on amazon forums claim to have received the game already, despite preordering only a week or two ago.

It is also worth noting that I have paid additional money for the luxury of an expediated service. In view of this I am not happy that people who have preordered considerably later with merely a first class delivery already have the game. Please could you let me know whether I will atleast receive this on release day as promised when I preordered many weeks ago. As a loyal amazon customer, I am used to a high quality service, if this is not going to be the case, I will be extremely dissapointed and will endeavour to preorder items at another retailer in future.

I orderded from GAME and its now in the hands of "farselforce"
Has anyone been able to track there delivery on there website yet? Mine is still just telling me its express 24 and no more details

God knows what there Pleased to Confirm as I had Exactlty the Same Email as that 2 Days ago 👎

Just sent them another Email explaining my thoughts as to why I feel having to wait till the 23rd to Enquire as to the Status of my Order is cutting it a bit tight time wise :indiff:
 
My CE copy is now in Droitwich being delivered by Home Network delivery, it is an infinitesimal ray of light after a very bad week in which I have been made redundant, at least I'll have some time on my hands to play it I suppose.
 
This thread is just comedy. Writing snotty letters to a retailer complaining that a computer game isn't late yet is just a whole new kind of lunacy. Do you really think that this is going to get you a reasonable response?
 
Play.com dispatched mine on Saturday, but I have no idea if it's being held or is actually in the postal system. I reckon I'll find out tomorrow. The thing about Play.com is there are no delivery choices, it's just standard free delivery so everyone should have it dispatched and receive it at nearly the same time.

I've generally had a good experience with them for pre-orders for this reason, usually arrives on the day, a few times the day before, and rarely the day after. So I'll be happy if it arrives tomorrow or Wednesday.

I avoid Amazon for pre-orders because they never seem to change. I paid for the quickest delivery for the PSP when it launched in 2005, but still received it a day late. The experience has never really changed.
 
No luck today. I'm not expecting it but would have been a nice surprise. Amazon have messed up my order stating they couldn't charge my debit card, but they have used it before now for other orders and play have taken payment. They better get it to me release.
 
The status on my CE pre-ordered from Gamestop in the US has updated to Pending and my card has been charged. Hoping they will ship it out today. I have overnight shipping so in theory I could be playing tomorrow.
 
Amazon.co.uk shipped mine this morning, Royal Mail 1st class, so there's an outside chance I may get it tomorrow.

And I'd like to take this chance to appologise to you all, I'm the guy who pre-ordered it, the day Sony announced the delay !
 
Mine was dispatched from GAME on saturday.

Hoping to get it 2moro as whenever ive orderd from them in the past ive allways had it a day early or the very next day if the item is allready availible.

Using standard royal mail as allways.

Game are very reliable imho
