They wasn't lying when they said they got the Art assets from ETX. I see a really small difference in graphics from the previous NASCAR game which was NASCAR 15. But at the end of the day as long as the game play's and functions well I can care less how the graphics look. I like the addition of the grille tape btw. Also the cars are sitting kinda odd. Hopefully they can fix that before release.

Day 1 for me. Even if it sucks I would still like a current gen NASCAR game in my collection. I miss Talladega and Darlington.

They definitely could do with having a official website for their games.

Would have been nice for members to throw in some ideas for the new game.

You're not wrong

Someone said that the reason it's dead over there is because it's nothing being shown off really. I know that but I bet if a official forum was up it would be way more busier over there then the reedit NASCAR heat evolution.

To be fair, this is their first game in....dear lord, who knows how long. I expect the first game to be a toe dip in the water, its the second that then they dive in headfirst.

I think we are possibly a week away from a trailer for this game. I hope the trailer ain't generic and showing off cars racing and saying things like "race on the 23 tracks along with 40 driver's. I want the trailer to show off a little bit of everything just about. So career, damage, possibly day to night transitions and a few other things. We know that it's gonna be the actual 40 drivers and 23 actual track's. Y'all already talked about that. I wanna see things that we haven't seen yet which I just name.

Dat background texture and AA tho

If it drives well, then no problem but that's got me worried about the quality as the Heat guys were never that bad

LOL

from that article

The title moved into full production on March 1, 2015. At first, it was going to use Eutechnyx's code, but it took about a month for Monster to figure out that it would be better to start over from scratch. "It was really a sports-car game not designed for NASCAR," Garcia told us when we visited the studio. "They just started gluing on NASCAR-y stuff

Can't believe it took them a month to figure out the code was garbage.

Sometimes, stupidity and ineptitude take a while to figure out.

They weren't joking about re-used assets. Graphically it looks like a PS3 game, the sounds look they were ripped from DtD and NASCAR Heat 2002, physics look off. The best thing about the gameplay was that the frame rate was smooth.

no markers for cars that are around you,.................. thats pretty bad isn't it .....................
Had some hope for this,..... still gonna buy it though :boggled:
