My god this debate about manual transmission. Just let it die people. The game doesn't come with it. EA doesn't care. Period. Don't like it don't buy it.
Now, onto some actual discussion. Here's a video of full grip gameplay, courtesy of Black Panthaa:
To me it still looks like Criterion physics, but they just limited the range of movement of the rear end. Not good old Black Box grip style. Of course I wouldn't know how it feels until I actually play it, but if that's the case then I might just stick to drift settings. Patched up bad physics is worse than bad physics alone from experience (Grid 2 and Grid Autosport comes to mind).
I was also kinda hoping they would show us gameplay outside the urban area. I want to see those mountain roads dammit! The city still looks way too drab for me. Bayview (from Underground 2) looks like a vibrant, living and breathing city. This just looks like a deserted urban decay. Also, I hope Criterion/Ghost still puts lots of collectibles (smash gates, billboards, jumps) to give an incentive to explore. Otherwise there's really not much to do besides the racing and customizing.
