Ok pardon my ignorance but how does this glitch works? I mean Someone needs to push one in right? So what happens to the last person outside. How will he get in if no one pushes him in? What is the payout if there are only 2 people in the game?

Until which time PD increases payouts in credit and xp from it's current regressive state (the more laps in the race, the smaller the payout per lap- sans the grind-favs) these glitches will continue to be found, and exploited. My Opinion.

What is the payout if there are only 2 people in the game? 2 million Cr. and 800 thousand XP for 1st, 1.4 million Cr. and about 500 thousand XP for 2nd

What amount?

Something between half a million and 6 million Cr.

How much do you get?

I still like remote racing as money maker only because it benefits your offline play as well. I make about 1.2 million a night and my end is only 80 minutes of racing in which I do not have to be in front of the tv.

I really don't understand why people go and do these glitches to raise millions of credits without any time investment required, then go make threads and posts on GTP complaining about how PD should add this and this and this. They can't add anything to the game when they're too busy fixing exploits...

Maybe bring back the larger paying seasonals. I think that would go a long way to stopping this. Also who has the time to go round looking for these glitches??

Where do I get more money and XP if I am last? Being last out of six or being last out of 16?
I rather want to ram some of the others to let them do the glitch because I always get back on to the track while I try to make laps while off course. That's just too annoying, if I have to try again and again to get off course again.
So I'm rather the good samaritan.

How did Polyphony produce such realism in this game? The attention to detail and time invested in Gran Turismo 5 boggles the mind.

Don't you have to finish your 200 laps to get a prize?

So wait your blaming the existence of the glitch and the delay of new materials on the people that exploit them?
Silly me, I thought the glitch was there due to shoddy game designing on PD's part.

Tell me one game that hasn't had one single glitch in single player/multiplayer

+1 👍

I really don't care if people use the glitch to make money. I've been guilty over the last 30-odd years of using cheats, etc to complete games where I've had to. But some of you must have very limited gaming experience if you think that PD have created a badly made game. Glitches and dodgy code have been around as long as video games have existed and will continue to be. At least this is a glitch you can ignore if you want to.

I just tried this tonight and kudos to those Asian GT5ers. They are so disciplined. Everyone line up one by one and patiently wait for their turn to get push in. And whoever comes in first in the last race becomes the pusher. And the pusher stays there to push back in people who got thrown back to the track. Not like SS7 where everyone race to get in the turn and to each his own.

No I don't glitch :P

I glitch because I want to try all of the cars that PD put in the game that I bought with my hard earned money, and I don't want to spend YEARS unlocking everything.

Is that all. Big deal. Get it while you can people, it will be closed by next week i'll bet.

Just Grind like the rest of us. I have better things to do with my time than go around in circles for 20 minutes(no NASCAR jokes please).

Is the piece of barrier you squeeze through the same as the one on SSR7? Maybe there's a glitch with that perticular piece on all tracks it contains.

the only thing that surprises me about this glitch is how GTP apparently thinks posting that perhaps this glitch should be kept a little more quiet than ss7 is wrong(mod deleted my post) and made it front page news....well its their site but still stikes me as odd :D

If that was really the reason, then you wouldn't waste your time with glitching. You'd find friends with those cars, and you'd borrow those cars.

Every last car is already available to you, and you'd get to use them much quicker than if you spent your time with glitching.

Yes, you are silly, or more accurately, dumb. To quote Tommy_861 ....

Every game has glitches like this. However not every game has in-game monetary benefit attached to it. The only reason nobody finds stuff like this in other top games like God Of War or Uncharted is that there is nothing to gain.

Seriously You expect the testers and developers to take every combination of car and smash into every wall seam on every track to find every possibility of a glitch? Maybe you would have liked to get GT5 in 2019.

:dunce:

I'm sure you're joking, but if you are not, please tell me how to find a friend who has a specific car, and will bother with sharing it to me whenever I feel like driving it? This is a game, and people surely have better things to do than administering a large friend list, where each has 6 interesting cars shared? And even if I have these friends in my list, there is no way of searching available shared cars, so I'll have to browse each friend, and then recognize the car by its thumbnail.

Surely you must agree it is easier to keep the cars in your own garage, even if we have to swallow broken glass (or run circles under the track) to do so.

When people do these glitches as a means to play the game in a way they want, it is a sign that the game mechanics are not working properly. The entire credit and XP system is flawed, and the current rewards are not rewarding.

Bring back unlimited gifting and remove the 1 car per day limit, and people will stop glitching.

The game mechanics aren't working properly? Who are you or anyone else besides the designers to decide that. Just because it doesn't work the way you like it doesn't mean its wrong.

The game wasn't designed to be played like Pokemon, and the developers obviously did not intend for people to be able to get every car in the game in a short amount of time. The game works fine, it just doesn't work the way you like it.

And your suggestion at the bottom will just result in a different glitch being exploited (duping).

Just an observation.

It seems that when a new glitch shows up, lot's of people participate. Why is that? Why would so many people drive through a small hole in a wall, to drive in circles in an ugly, under developed environment under the track? Is it really a fun race to do?

I think people do this for one or more of a few reasons.
1.) It's just fun that someone found something that isn't supposed to be part of the game and it's just fun to participate with a community of other people who are breaking the rules a bit. This is why I've done it. Haven't made much money, but had fun pushing people through a wall. Just the novelty of it.

2.) Money is just too hard to come by in GT5. There was grind in the other GT games to be able to afford cars, but it wasn't this extremely difficult. You could re-do a racing series, win another prize car and sell it for cash. They took that out of the game. It seems that there are lots of people who bought this game that want to get to the expensive cars sooner.

I think PD missed their market a little and made the game more for the extreme, purists. You know who I'm talking about - those who want everyone to play the game their way. I am just seeing a large group of people willing to use a glitch and seemingly, having a blast doing it.
