Tell me one game that hasn't had one single glitch in single player/multiplayer
Pac-Man
People do it on this site all the time -- the exact same way they find people to do the 'Ring glitch. They post, people respond. It's not hard.
I'm sure you're joking, but if you are not, please tell me how to find a friend who has a specific car, and will bother with sharing it to me whenever I feel like driving it? This is a game, and people surely have better things to do than administering a large friend list, where each has 6 interesting cars shared? And even if I have these friends in my list, there is no way of searching available shared cars, so I'll have to browse each friend, and then recognize the car by its thumbnail.
Surely you must agree it is easier to keep the cars in your own garage, even if we have to swallow broken glass (or run circles under the track) to do so.
When people do these glitches as a means to play the game in a way they want, it is a sign that the game mechanics are not working properly. The entire credit and XP system is flawed, and the current rewards are not rewarding.
Bring back unlimited gifting and remove the 1 car per day limit, and people will stop glitching.
.....
I'm contending that he should just admit that he wants to own all the cars -- it's nothing about wanting to try all of them, and that's obviously a bogus excuse.
Fact is, people glitch because they want to, not because they are forced to, like they contend.
If PD multiplied all rewards in the game tomorrow, people would still glitch -- because they can get money 5 times faster that way, no matter what the reward is through regular play.
+1 👍
I really don't care if people use the glitch to make money. I've been guilty over the last 30-odd years of using cheats, etc to complete games where I've had to. But some of you must have very limited gaming experience if you think that PD have created a badly made game. Glitches and dodgy code have been around as long as video games have existed and will continue to be. At least this is a glitch you can ignore if you want to.
Yes, you are silly, or more accurately, dumb. To quote Tommy_861 ....
As I don't have a x1 (and probably wont reach lvl 30 in time), can this be done with another car?
It's funny your calling me dumb without even understanding what I meant and also quoting something that didn't even contradict my statement
Next time before you jump up to insult any other member here, please try to understand what they have posted.
Silly me, I thought the glitch was there due to shoddy game designing on PD's part.
Is the piece of barrier you squeeze through the same as the one on SSR7? Maybe there's a glitch with that perticular piece on all tracks it contains.
It's funny, just trying to get glitchers to call it what it is. Just admit it -- you glitch to get money faster than the game will give it to you. If the in-game rewards were five times higher (and equal to what glitching would give you), you would STILL glitch in order to get money even faster. lol
That's ok, I don't care if you do...
Like I said, it makes no difference to me. It's just hilarious watching them twist in the wind, looking for a valid explanation why they do it that doesn't make them look like a cheat.Actually, you know what's REALLY funny? The glitchers really don't care. Not a bit. But apparently all the NON-glitchers who constantly whine and claim that they don't care, obviously DO care.
If my greedy ex-wife got caught breaking into a jewelry store to get all the diamonds, it would go like this:
Ex-wife: "But officer, I just wanted to try on all the necklaces."
Cop: "But you could just walk into the jewelry store tomorrow, and try them all on -- every single one."
Ex-wife: "But....but...but...."
Cop: "Tell it to the judge, lady."
Call it for what it is, and quit making weak excuses. lol
What happens to the guy that's left with no one to push him??
*grin* 👍Dont forget the bit where your ex-wife first must ask each of her 100 friends whether or not they both have a particular peice she's interested in and whether or not their willing to part with it.
The cheese stands alone
nice...i guess you just take turns...yey time to collect more cars hahah
*grin* 👍
Hey, there's a sign here! It says, "press button, collect 5 million credits". Whee, look at me, I'm playing a game! And I'm winning! *press button* *press button*
I would use a button like this in GT5.Hey, there's a sign here! It says, "press button, collect 5 million credits".
The exploitation, and the resulting use, of the glitch, is a manifestation of impatience, a new trend among teenagers and children of the 21st century. Why can you not wait? Why can you not just enjoy it? What good is there for getting to level 40? Or having all the cars in the game? Shouldn't videogames be GAMES? They're not contracts to success in life, except for GT5 and GTAcademy, but still. People, get my point?
Your signature is awesome.
What were we talking about?
I actually agree with much of what you say here. I'll contend, though, that regardless of payout, even if it's 10 times what it is today, the glitchers will still glitch -- because glitching makes money faster. Not because they'd need to with 10x payouts, but because it's faster than what exists in the game.I would use a button like this in GT5.
The GT5 credits have no intrinsic value, the races pay out too little (actually they pay less the further you progress in game), the price cars mostly suck (example: Caterham for finishing FGT, 2002 turbo for finishing DTM) and many of the cars have arbitrary and very high prices, like the 2J at 14.5M or the Stratos Rally which has a base price of 5 million Cr.
Rubber banding, SS7 donuts and Nur glitching are symptoms, they are not the root problem. PD made a level system that goes to 40 but forgot to add content for the last 10 levels. They priced the cars at what, 500 million credits, but created a 20 million wallet cap and no interesting way of making the last few hundred millions.
So yeah, give me that 5M button and I'll use it. It beats rubber banding and donuts, and it would let me buy and tune more cars I could bring to my Nur change time @20:30 lobby. And when I win the race I make enough credits to buy what.. an EXA Canopy?
Making GT5 money is no fun, but racing is. I'm sure if PD put their clever heads to it they could find a way of combining the two.

I have no problem with being patient but some of the car prices are ridiculous. I'm not trying to collect every car, just all of the premiums. I want the Miura and Mark IV but I'm done with A-spec. I race online every night for about 2 hours in various cars and with the credits I'm making it would take me approximately 4 months to get those 2 cars and that's IF I don't buy anything else during that time. The exploitation, and the resulting use, of the glitch, is a manifestation of impatience, a new trend among teenagers and children of the 21st century.
