That's been discussed.
" no interior view, less detailing and no crash model" all refer to damage basically. It means you won't be able to damage those cars to such an extent that you'd see, for example, the engine bay or under the bumper and so on...

"Standard models won’t have an interior view, less detailing and no crash model. The problem is that premium models take a lot of time to create and we wanted to include many more vehicles than before. To make premium versions of all the cars we want to put in would take ten years or more and I don’t think people are prepared to wait long!
"

From the autoblog Interview :
Oh please no please noooooooooooooooooooo

I dont get that at all. Maybe its a misunderstanding.
Taking into account that idea means then evey car in Prologue is going to be premium. I very much doubt many of those basic cars would be premium models.
Premium models seem to have lights on as well, looking at some of the previous videos at Tokyo and include more detailing with all the extra damage.

Id expect all cars to have interiors it makes sense and I tell you why.
If headtracking is incorporated then we have assumed it would use interior cockpit view. 3D will also make use of the interior cockpit view. You cant have a majority of cars not supporting that view then. It doesnt make sense.

Perhaps the misunderstanding is that only "Premium" cars have damage and that includes interior damage to which maybe thats what it was referring to and not just cockpits.

" no interior view, less detailing"

You're eluding an very important part of the sentence.

Quick nerd question.

Does anyone know if the LED on the windshield of the C6's can be changed to metric?

I highly dislike imperial its retarded beyond belief.

I think they are now making their cars shift more faster than GT5p. I guess no G25/27 advantage anymore. :D

That's fudged up translation.
Interior as in, you crash head on and the bonnet crumples and opens, which allows you to see car's interior, and that doesn't happen, simply because it's not yet modeled, or in other words less detailed.
Hope that clears it.;)

Yeah, we love our firearms......and we build your hockey rinks 200ft by 85ft :p

I just dont get how Americans use metric for ballistics and soda but not anything else...

I hate it. Metric is more straightforward and honestly, it's just BETTER. I am an engineer and I hate the fact that the US is the ONLY country that has not joined the metric bandwagon. :grumpy:

Because you cannot buy a 90cm door in this country. We would have to re-tool an entire industry to go metric. It was tried in the early 2000's and the industry just said no. The Corp of Eng even mandated it in their specs and soon realized they couldn't afford their projects because of that, and allowed 'soft-metric' to be used instead. Which meant English.

From what I can barely tell, the ZR1 sounds good.:)

Finally, one of my most anticipated cars is in a new video!

It sounds pretty good, too!

Edit: I removed the link because it was not the Corvette ZR1. Sorry.

I know, but that doesn't mean I have to like it, lol.

Yeah, I wasn't arguing it. 1/10th of a foot calc's are ridiculous. Metric would make my business MUCH easier. :dunce:

(sorry: OT) I think the Corvette's HUD digital's follow the setting you select in the options menu: kph or mph.

Actually, Nigeria too is using imperial units.

To be honest though when I race in driving games I like to have my speed in MPH rather than KPH (even though I'm from Australia). I find I have a better feel for how fast I'm going when I think 60mph, 100mph as opposed to 100kph, 160kph.

i always use metric. I used to use imperial but now I use metric after watching so many international racing. Like F1 LeMans series FIA GT racing, they use metric and half the tracks in GT are raced in those series. Metric gives me a better idea of how fast to enter and exit turns based off of what kind of car i'm driving.

I love how they have the ZR-1 specification during the selection of a car 👍

I'm Canadian and I have to use imperial for the majority of what I do at work but use metric the rest of the time. Metric is definitely superior. Sorry for straying off topic but great videos!

The HUD in GT5:p Vette does not change to metric even if it's the current setting.
And it doesn't do that in the video either.

I want to see some chase cam footage of the ZR1. Looks too good on the outside!

Sounds like the Z06 from Prologue

Yeah, altough I was very comfortable with the interior explaining last week,
now I'm a little confused. Does anybody know if some cars were standard in the demo ? (with proof?) Maybe the F458? Or the SLS?

This would clarify the interior debate, maybe some of the cars in that demo were indeed Standard, and if they'd still feature an interior view I ( and many others ) would feel reassured somewhat.
Is anyone, anywhere able to confirm this?

I'm surprised we haven't read any firsthand accounts from GTP members regarding this demo (or did I miss something?). Surely someone from here must have been there? :nervous:

That works for me. Add a little bit of supercharger whine to it and I would be more than happy. I think the Z06 in Prologue sounds great.

Agree:tup: But I want to se McLaren F1 in action...

A guy from GTRP (GrüneHölle) has been there and posted some impressions on their forum from this post on. I don't have time now to translate it (it is in German of course). :)
