You can't do anything about it if it's already there. GT is more of a celebration of the automobile and it's history.

All I was originally stating was that I wished PD had stuck to the concept of making a game concentrating on GT cars & not introduce other genres . What are we to expect in GT7 or GT 8 F-zero style hover cars?

GT or Gran turismo stands for Grand touring not a specific racing class!

GT was never solely about these machines. GT is a game that celebrates the autmobile and tries to simulate their nature as best as possible. As automobiles advance, I assume GT will as well.

The point is, JDM guys who like fluffy wheels got it, why not give cars for the hot hod guy? That's the point, and yeah, like I said, I'm not asking FOR a hot hod, with custom paint and all, just the CAR that we coulda use it for make a hot hod.

While we don't have traditional Hot Rods in GT6 we do have Hot Rods. All the SEMA cars are Hot Rods plus whenever we "mod" we are Hot Rodding.

Without wanting to sound pedantic the very name "gran turismo" suggests a game based on that genre of racing. If it was called "car racing" I would see your point . I'm all for more content in games but I think concentrating on one area of anything results in a more focussed result.

The Gran Turismo series has never since the first PSX release been a game focused on GT cars. If you want a GT racing game, go buy something else. But it's not Polyphony's fault you've misinterpreted what their series is supposed to be.

To be honest, & this is just my opinion I'm kind of glad there aren't any. I wish PD would just stick to GT cars & races then maybe I would get the game I wanted . There are plenty of rally games out there so why have them in here, same goes for the F1 style cars (red bull) , nascar , karts & as for drifting is that really racing ?? What I am trying to say is why not stick to one format & make it the best you possibly can. If you went to a Chinese restaurant & saw pizza on the menu would you think that was a great place to eat ?? Sounds like a bit of a rant but I hope you see my point.

Gran Turismo The real "driving" not racing simulator. Keep that in mind folks.

Does the Hibachi grill also serve Chinese food ? I would rather go to an authentic Chinese restaurant for chow mein & an Italian restaurant for a pizza.

I believe it has a few, not really sure on the differences. And I agree, much rather go to Johnny's for pizza than that place, but it'll do.

Anyway, I think we're hijacking the thread, and since I haven't posted on the hot rods, I wouldn't mind seeing a few.
