I suppose we should ask how you got to play a team of Motherwall legends.

Only 2 legends. The aforementioned Kirkie and Dougie Arnott.

Our work sponsor Motherwell FC so we get perks from the club. My boss arranged a challenge match between a mixture of staff and our customers with Stevie and Dougie roped in too. The first one was back in May, and this was the 2nd one.

BTW "my" away team won. The score is not really known but most of us counted 10-8, or 11-8, or 11-9...

Still I didn't think putting a 79" long bed and it's mattress into the back of a coupe was a bad effort at all.

I like how IKEA say there stuff is easy to get home, your car is a decent size and you had an issue fitting the box it. Hell it's even a Swedish car, there shouldn't be any issue at all.

Maybe their lamps are. But yeah, you can still only make a box the size of it's biggest piece, so when you get big things they're still quite sizable.

I went with Kate to get a desk there once, the thing wasn't that big but it still wouldn't fit in my car at all. I remember these "drive it home" advertisement showed someone in an old Fiat 500 with all sorts of crap in their car. I laughed. Then we inquired about delivery. I cried. They wanted almost the same price of the desk to deliver it to her. I'll never understand IKEA, although their food is excellent.

That's why I hired a van

(To be fair, I mainly hired it to help my flatmate move in. But it was useful for Ikea too...)
