Well, at least you guys had a swell, fun time. I'd love to go bowling again one day with a group of friends and my mother. Have a strong week my friend.
This was me and a friendly bunch of folks at the Nurburging 24h last year (me on the right). They had an amazing spot just beyond the exit to Metzgesfeld (II) and before Kallenhard.
I gate-crashed their camp somewhat, but they were very friendly and welcoming, and immediately offered me a choice of ice-cold, freshly poured beers that they had on tap... I spent a good couple of hours drinking with them, before heading off towards Metzgesfeld where I fell into some bushes.
I can tell you with absolute certainty they live to operate. They don't get paid to write, they get paid to cut. The writing is to cover themselves legally.
