Danny is a Yorkshire Pudding. :p

Summat that any self-respectin' Yorkshireman should be able t'make from scratch without relyin' on some big bloody supermarket chain to put int'boxes fer 'im!

It's pancake mix in a muffin tray cooked in an oven basically!
Very yummy with roast beef, English mustard, horseradish & gravy.

pancake + muffin... how does that mix with roast beef and mustard and horseradish and gravy?

I swear Dennis Farina's words ring truer and truer more and more

Also, how small are those Yorkshire puddings that 12 of them fit in that dinky box?

Those are our pancakes and muffins. Does not compute.

Because they're a ready mixed batter frozen in little foil cups. The batter expands greatly in a hot oven.

Boxed Yorkshire pudding tastes awful. Homemade FTW!

Agreed. But even ready-prepped 'puds are still the Sunday Lunch of the Gods.

Forget about muffins. They're just cooked in your muffin-sized baking trays. Pancakes and Yorkshire puddings are roughly the same ingredient wise, but where as pancakes are fried/griddled into a stodgy flat thing, YP's are baked in a very hot oven and rise into light and crispy shells. If done right.

Aunt Bessie is the exception to the rule. She has delicious puddings.

Damn al this talk of Yorkshire puddings makes me want to go back to the lake district. :(

Anyone familiar with it? Does anyone know Hutchinson's Butchers, not to far from the blue bird cafe beside lake windermere? Best sausages and bacon in the world. Fact.

Scroll, scroll, scroll.

And then that ^^, I just about spit my drink out my nostrils, that is awesome.

WHAT THE HELL IS A YORKSHIRE PUDDING?!?!?!

To the icey depths of Lake Windermere with you! :p

That's Cumbria, you fool! :p Yorkshire isn't associated with such prestigious areas of open water. The nearest thing here is a Morrisons car park on a drizzly day.

Now to confuse everyone with Toad in the Hole.

Sounds more comfy than a hamster, if you're into that sort of thing.

Why is she holding a box of Yorkshire Pudding?

Also, what the hell is Yorkshire Pudding?

Go make some pancake mix, stick it in the oven until it starts to brown around the outside. You have yourself a Yorkshire pudding. Goes well with roast dinners and the likes. Very tasty. 👍

[edit] Tree'd by an entire page. :odd:

Make them real good so you have no breaks in the Yorkshire Pud, then you can fill it with some nice thick gravy. Mmmm, I'm hungry!

I hand make them large, so that my Yorkshire pud becomes the bowl for my meal, just have to go easy on the gravy when I do that...

Why do kart tracks always have enormous curbs that break your back when you tag them?
