I was riding my KTM to go dirtbiking and my mate was driving my car with another 2 bikes in a trailer.... we stopped for petrol and I had to get in and reverse the trailer so we could fill the bikes (clearly the better driver here too) and I couldn't be bothered to take off my gear...

The truth is, wearing that gives me the extra confidence needed to clip the kerbs at the local roundabout, have since shaved a whole 3 seconds off my PB run to the Rum store.

It's all about maintaining apex speed but not spilling any.

The gloves let me keep my grip on the wheel, even after my hands start to sweat from the pressure of not spilling ANY rum.

I have never driven a CRG kart, nor a Rotax.


I also have a blue helmet, and a black Birel kart.


Should I cover the Rotax/CRG things with white tape, and paint my helmet? Or should I get a new racing suit/gloves?

I don't want to be THAT badly mismatched, to have blue with red & lime green (used kart, person before had next-to-no tastes ) and try to gain respect.

Let me suggest that it will be your performance on the track and not your fashion sense that will gain you respect.
