I prefer the 3DS to the 2DS also, the 2DS looks a bit impractical.

Right now, I'm doing a Nuzlocke challenge. Luckily, none of my Pokemon have "died" yet, and I've just reached the Day Care Centre.

Is that the one where if your pokemon faints you release it?

Has anyone else played Pokemon Omnicron/Zeta?

It's the Pokemon game Reddit made, and it's bloody awesome. My main gripe with official Pokemon games is that they're too easy in 'story mode'. O/Z ramps the difficulty up. Elite Four starts at around level 70. I've got 2 more Gyms to go and I'm around Level 45. Eek.

Finally picked this up yesterday for my XL. Fantastic game so far and was mega pleased with how easy it is to get a Pikachu.

The game is more than just a Pikachu.
In fact, while it's a great game of course, it just feels like it should be called "Now That's What I Call The Best Of Pokemon!" Because that's what it is: the Pokemon favourites (well, not my most favourite non-legend, Whimsicott) all brought into one all new region, with the occasional new Pokemon popping up.
Not that it stopped me using 4 new Pokemon in my playthrough.
The starter of course, Delphox, which was FEMALE! Look at me with my mad luck ^_^ Was solid but unspectacular.
Aegislash, probably one of the single greatest Pokemon around in terms of power. Also it's a Pokemon I find genuinely cool - a rarity for me.
Dragalge, which took its time to evolve and was therefore deadweight for a long time. Evolving failed to change that at all. The memetic butt monkey of my team, but it hung around everyone's level despite it all.
Avalugg, how ****ing awesome is this. Just let a physical attacker try you, then hit it with a hugely powerful Avalanche. Looks awesome, plays awesome too. Best of its type.

The other two were (Mega) Blastoise, which was average but also crucial at times, and Leafeon. Yes, I waited until the last gym to evolve my Eevee. Why? Because Leafeon is cute, that's why. Don't argue with it. It's also a lovely physical attacker.

I knew well about the Exp. Share's broken-ness, so I turned it off for the game. This meant I was underleveled for much of it - and it was challenging. So that was nice.
Linking back to my previous comment, there are just so many references to previous games. I don't know whether this is good or not, but I think more new ideas should have been implemented.

Probably the biggest bugbear is this: in Black/White, they decided to put in new Pokemon and nothing else. Here, they've put in little else but the old ones. Why such a sudden reverse? The Black/White way was not the greatest of methods but they fixed it perfectly for BW2.

Fancy Vivillon is available on Mystery Gift now for those that don't know already. It has a unique pattern and comes with a special move called "Hold hands"... which seems to do absolutely nothing The Vivillon's nature and IV's are not set until you pick it up from the girl in the Pokemon Center, so you can save before picking it up and then soft reset until you get the nature/IV's that you want.

Also, does anyone here have a Protean Froakie available for trade? I've got a lot of various breeding rejects, some with hidden abilities, that I could trade in return 👍

Not speculated, it's pretty much confirmed (images taken from Serebii). It's ability is apparently going to be Tough Claws, which boosts the power of contact moves for those that don't already know what it does. It's perfect for Metagross as it's movepool is full of contact moves, such as Meteor Mash, Bullet Punch, Ice Punch, etc.

I haven't been here in awhile . I was busy with teams from my old games since I traded them over to Pokemon X.

On another note, I don't go to the meta scene but its funny how I have ways to beat competitive battlers during my time off this thread. One time my Staraptor which was on around 10 HP OHKO a Mega Tyranitar from a smogon battler which won me the match. Haxourus from my Black team is my way to stop the annoying Rotom-W and I am just pure evil in Triple Battles .

Anyway, does anyone know when Diancle will be released in Australia. My friend really wants it but he can't do event Pokemon. So I am getting it for him.

@WiiFreak Yeah. My Haxorus has Earthquake and the Ability Mold Breaker. I'm thinking about giving him Substitute too or a Lum Berry to hold.

I am worried Diancie won't come here at all.

On the topic of OR/AS, I'm loving Mega Swampert. It looks awesome. Also, my most cherished Pokemon is my Shiny Swampert I had in Emerald out of pure luck (starter) and have not gave it away. I have transferred it to every game I own and now it gets to return to Hoenn with an epic Mega Evolution. I could cry .
