She's May J who's a popular singer in Japan famous for covering songs from foreign artists :) You can look up about her on the internet if you're interested. :)

I'm gonna post the drawing again on here when I'm done with it so you can give it a look again if you wanna see what it eventually will turn out to be like. 👍

Finally finished my newest pencil portrait I shot for "photo-realistic rendering", ^^ Some tiny parts might look a bit strange but I'm pleased with the result now. ;) Hope you guys like this one :)
 
Got a graphics tablet a few days ago and I feel as though I'm starting to get the hang of it, I tried my hand at drawing a mean looking cartoon German Shepherd.

Did a thing for the same class in Illustrator. We were to choose a famous artist and create a composition based upon their work. Guess who I chose.

Ended up printing it out on 11x17in. cardstock, but I feel it would look better much bigger.

I drew this last Thursday on my new Wacom Cintiq 13HD pen display. I had an Intuos pen and touch before.

I did this one with a combination of Promarkers and Sharpies.

These two I used pencil for the initial sketch, then I used a 'Pentel pocket brush' pen (which I am still getting used too) for the lines.

My brother said exactly the same thing, I wasn't going for realistic proportions anyway. :p

Yes, Piet Mondrian's long-lost son-in-law's cousin twice removed! I didn't think anyone would guess him.
 
I tried a portrait on paper and I felt as if I was doing ok until I got to the facial details... :lol: Thankfully Photoshop came to the rescue and I managed to create something a bit more human in appearance.

Who is this supposed to be? This one looks appealing... And yes hands are one of the trickiest parts when it comes to drawing / tracing the contours accurately.
