Best driving and racing game I've ever played (well, joint with Race Driver 3 on the racing front but it would eclipse it with a few better online options).

Worst for bugs in a driving or racing game. My PS4 is crashing at least 3-4 times a day and the bug where I can't join qualifying in a lot of rooms is tiresome.

EDIT: I've seen from a @wowbaggerBR post that redownloading may fix the crashes. Will try today
Just to say that my PS4 didn't crash at all yesterday after redownloading and by doing the static IP switch I can join mid-qualifying. No more forced mini breaks for me ;)

I've did this three times now. Seems to be working fine, but I thought so last time until the crashes starts to happen again, so you never know.

Glad that it helped you.

pCARS 25% off on Steam if people are still on the fence (like me). The price could go down even more so I'll be waiting until June 21st.

So glad I bought him allready, even if my mobo died on me and I can't play the game realy well at the moment in the old one.

I guessed it must be a bad conversion. It was cheaper on Steam :p
Haha lucky. I was planning on buying it today, because it was late when I finally able to get on the computer. Guess I'm going to have to pay 50 extra cents. I doubt the DLC will ever go on sale considering how cheap it is.

Well damn. Spoke too soon, it went up to $3.49.

Good thing I bought it the minute I woke up in the morning, because then again prices are subject to change, and may be done so without further notice - especially those summer sales...

Does anyone know if with the disc version on PS4, if I delete project cars (only to reinstall it again in hopes of stopping my PS4 from being kicked into rest mode constantly) will the day one patch also be deleted? I don't have internet at my house, which is why I'm asking.

Sorry this may have been addressed already but I can't really wade through hundreds of pages...I just got this on PC, most modern games seem to run OK for me, i7, 12GB RAM but GTX560Ti (which I hope to upgrade sometime this year), had a lot of fun with the two initial kart series which I won on "50" difficulty pretty easily, thought it seemed a little jittery but that's the nature of karts I guess.

Anyway just moved on to the first invitational where you drive a BAC mono and finding things are smooth as silk under accelleration but experiencing huge lag under braking, where the frame rate goes for a burton and the car "jumps" forward. Most of the graphics settings were on medium-ish by default so I turned a lot of stuff down and off, and it is exactly the same. No improvement at all, which seems very odd.

Anyone have any suggestions for anything specific I could turn down or off? Am hoping to replace my graphics card for a 960/70 this year as well as add some RAM and a new PSU but I still feel this should be playable now, especially with the settings on low :(

RAM isn't the answer. I only have 8gb or ram with i7 GTX970 and no issues at all. Which i7 is it? Do you have a frame rate displaying from Steam/Shadowplay/Fraps etc? Have you monitored CPU and GPU usage with some external software like MSI Afterburner?

Thanks for the prompt response, I worked out the issue almost as promptly! I was using a DS3 with MotioninJoy in 360 controller emulation mode (and wired), seems that's a bit resource-heavy as it worked just fine when I used the keyboard (OK it was still virtually unplayable but with no lag on braking). I just need to get a bluetooth dongle so I can use my 360 controller, derp.

This game is officially amazing!

It's so god damn immersive. Just had a 6 lap MP race at Le Mans on PC with a bunch of peeps who actually knew how to race.

My setup:

Put that together with a pair of decent headphones and the world around me disappeared! I've spent the last 5 hours watching qualifying from the real Le Mans and I swear this game made me feel like it was real. The looks, the sounds , the handling, everything about it is just phenomenal. I can't remember a racing game that made me feel the way that 6 lap race just has. SMS have done an amazing job.

Excuse me for the, I believe, repetitive question but, is proper Multi-Class racing planned to come in to Solo mode at some point? By proper multi-class racing, I mean genuinely different types of cars racing each other, not just sub-classes of the same type of car. I believe I recall there being a "Random" option for the AI opponents during development, why was this removed from the release?

How do you like the curved screen? Do you notice it's curved when you're driving?
