Agreed, my mates take the mick, but they're filthy casuals anyway lol.

Nephews think it's cool though.
Funny you should say that, my nephew saw and had a go in my racing rig for the first time ever a couple of weeks ago and you could see in his face he thought it was the coolest thing he had ever seen!

Not sure I care how much of a dork I look like for the experience it gives. I would think the vast majority of people would say we look like dorks sat in our sim setups playing a computer game with a toy wheel anyway :)

And really don't see the buttons as an issue.
Yeah I agree with you. To me the bigger issues with VR (project morpheus in my case) are price and can my stomach handle it without becoming nauseous. Its something I'd never buy blindly, I'd definately need to give it a try before hand.

Fixed the Forza chicane at Le Mans.

Anyone have any advice on fuel saving? In a career GT3 race at Laguna I ran out with 3 laps left while I was in second place. Of course I skipped to end of race and it froze, so I'll be racing it again. In the regulations refueling is not allowed. I don't believe I started with a full tank, so hopefully I can edit that in the car setup section.

You kind of answered it yourself. If you didn't have a full tank, you can change it when you are setting up your car during practice/qualifying.

What I do is run a few practice laps in solo mode, and take note of how much fuel I use especially on my fastest lap, then I work out how much I'll need for full race distance and throw in a few extra to be on the safe side (I got DQ'd once for having just under 1L as I crossed the line). I figure you won't use more per lap than what you did on your fastest lap, works for me so far.

Ok thanks guys. In all the GT4 races fuel was never really a factor. Then in GT3 with 10 laps left I was doing the math in my head and realized there was no way I was going to make it. :banghead:

I'm finally back behind the wheel in pCARS after a longer hiatus - real life and work getting in the way. I also waited for the 1.4 patch and I'm so glad I did. The 1.4 patch is a ''game changer'' for me - with Temporal Level being set to 0, it's like night and day in comparison. I was never bothered by the 'ghosting' but the noticeable improvement this setting brings really makes you think why they implemented it in the first place.

As for the Racing Icons Car Pack, for 32SEK, it's a damn steal.

Now, it's time go back and walk this puppy around Spa.

PC USER REQUIRED TO TEST CUSTOM LIVERIES
Would any of you PC users be willing to test out custom liveries for me? I am on PS4 and need a beautiful assistant! Designing anything like this is what I love and even though I cannot use them I would like to try a few.

I have not finished it yet but I would like to know who to send it to when I have. I am trying a very basic one first, a Murphy Prototypes RWD P30 LMP1, to see if I am remotely capable of it.

Thanks.

EDIT I got a volunteer.

After watching some of the 24 hours of Lemans i really want to try it now on the game now. But I want a mid save race feature before I do decide to do it.
Just use the driver swap feature, it's just like having a team mate. That's what I did.

I plugged a desk fan into a different power socket to my T300 and every time I turn it on, off or adjust fan speed my T300 disconnects and the 'controller disconnected' screen pops up.

just perfect...

Oh dear, TM wheels seem tto be having a torrid time with pCARS  I've said it before, I'd be worried that all this malarkey was doing damage to my wheel

^ That sounds more like an electrical problem with the T300. And yet another to add to the 'caution list'. Buying a wheel was simpler before: get the G2x and be done with it

There's also no possibility to do a single race that mixes LMP's with GT's apparently. That and the mid race save feature would also get me going.

How do you swap back from AI once you're ready to play again? Is there an option on the pause menu?

[EDIT] Looked it up and it's essential that you assign a button to request pit stops otherwise you'll be stuck with Bob all race.
