Come on Jett Racer, just join!

Anyway, just had to get that out of the way, I have an important question.

Question regarding the idea of pushing the race start time for Le Mans forward one hour to 20.00 UTC/GMT.

This is to allow a couple more people to join the Le Mans race. Is there any one out there that the extra hour push becomes a gamebreaker?

That would kill any chance of me being able to do the whole race.

Right, I figured it would be a problem, sorry about all the schedule antics but it's tough trying to figure out the right time for every one, but every one also understands that no matter what, someone's always going to be left out to dry so.

I'd like to take a little more practice, but in a couple hours, I'll qualify.

Oh, Wardez, I didn't know there were two lobbies!

Two lobbies?

The last one I had up is closed.

For the race. I checked regulations, and I can't see two rooms/lobbies for real racing. All I must know is this...

A. Are there two different rooms for official racing for points?
B. What are the times for those two different rooms?
C. Which room will I be in?

These may sound idiotic, but I'm a little confused.

EDIT: Are these "A Room" and "B Room" you are talking about in the regs?

Under "Racing Format"
Up to 16 drivers will compete per room on race day. If more than 16 drivers qualify the cutoff will be 16 slots , all other drivers, no matter how little, will race in auxiliary rooms.

More answers:
Qualifying sets the "grid" for the races on Sunday.

The first 16 race in room A, the rest in room B or further if necessary (Le Mans might get crowded).

All rooms are scheduled to race at exactly the same time.

If you read over the points system you'll see how the points scale down through the rooms, every one races for driver and team points no matter where you are.

The room you're in is determined by your qualifying position.

There's 8 LMP cars and 8 GTE cars so if you're, say, GTE number 9 you'll be on pole position for the room B race.

Oh.

Stupid me. :sly:

Well, time can't be changed. It means after Spa I'll get a long month break. Meh.

Curse my luck.

For me, of all the worst possible time slots, this is THE. WORST. POSSIBLE. TIME SLOT!

I hope you guys will have fun at Le Mans! 👍

I have room open but sparta is having problems getting in so does anyone else want to host a practice/quali room ? :p

Could somebody please qualify me? This is the only time i available to do some qualifying before the race, as i'm going to be busy attending a friend's wedding today.
Thank you

patch download is at 54% ... I'll be available to qualify people when it's done.
(if no one else gets there first)

.. done .. on my way

Tony just qualified with a blistering 2'08.277. We're both in this room..

Which car, gentleman, has the best handling capabilities without sliding like crazy? I don't want a challenge!

GTR and the Viper are the best handling... pretty much a toss-up whether you want torque (viper) or lightness (GTR)

p.s.

new Room... going to be here a while as I haven't operated a car in a week.

going to take a break, i'll be back on in an hour or so to get my lap in and pick up any late-quali's

My time hasn't been added to the sheet yet. Litch was going to double check replay as he was unsure was there any outcome to this?

I checked the replay and was 100% sure it was clean....

I added your time 1 hour ago Dan...

And I confirm, it's 100% clean on your replay and 100% dirty on mine. Thanks to GT5 Lags ;)

Something quite serious has popped up guys and it looks like I wont be able to participate in tomorrows event. I was going to qualify today but would be irrelevant now as I wont be able to race.

It was nice racing with some of you and meeting you guys. Hope to see you in many more events to come :)

Wardez, is it OK if I change to the Oreca Viper? I've got the #51 Viper and absolutely LOVE IT. No problem doing 2:18s and 2:17s, at that. Awesome car, so can I change? I've already qualified in that wretched Citroen, but am I allowed? Thanks -

Also, this may be wishful thinking, but could I requalify in my Viper? :O
