I thought that too, after I postedThat's the point though, it's highly desirable to get beyond it 👍 ...
You show up as offline in the app but that’s a profilesetting. Maybe it’s the profile anyway, not the connection?I don't know what more I can do. I've got the PS4 connected directly to the modem on a static IP. I haven't had any connection problems for ages now. Something was up last night though. Does everybody see me as not being on-line for a month?

Don’t despair just yet. There’s a profile setting about visibility and there has been a privacy update, oooh, two weeks ago? Less. Maybe you haven’t had it yet, or didn’t notice. It needs setting upI think maybe it is. I can't see anything wrong in my profile settings but people have had trouble sending me friend requests (but not everyone). Short of setting up a new profile I can't see what I can do.
Mr. Fixit replies: glad it worked@StirlingMoose
You already had that issue before that privacy update, right ?
@Zeitgeist and others :
I'm hopeless in network account management. But is it possible that there's some interference between PS3 and PS4, in a way that PS3 settings could be the reason, since the account has been in use with the PS3 already ?
Edit : ok, yesterday's news now.
It's funny how the Daily races work out sometimes. Having suffered a drop in my SR yesterday, due to being rammed at Bathurst yesterday (guy went full speed into the back of me as I entered the pits, result I was disqualified!), I entered the Maggiore race today as an A/A.
Got a grid slot of P2 twice (behind people that were in the top 10, over 3 seconds faster than me), finishing in 2nd both times, moving me back up to A/S. The next race then saw me on pole, 1 second faster than the guy in2nd place, a gap I managed to maintain until the end of the race - my first win since October!

The F1 GP begin today
@ROCKET JOE ...i miss the Q3 ....vettel gonna start behind who ??.......and some rumors said like 700ms behind ..?! 🤬:censored:
Yeah and if my memories are right ...PD featured some f1 driver to come to the office and try the new wheel and maybe maybe it was a secret meeting to get the CSA technology insteadLew probably runs with CSA on. After the VGT project, Mercedes was deeply impressed by PD and decided to work on PD's driving aid to finally make it available irl.
Its not me it s @ROCKET JOEYou guys and your F1 spoilers again...

I commiserate. Surely the purpose of knowing stuff is sharing it, but they don’t understandHa Ha.
Learned from my ex father-in-law ... biggest soccer spoiler ever!
SR affected me more than DR, I've tried to drive to protect that - probably because I thought it might protect against dirty drivers!Half a year ago we ran our last QMs, so I think they should still be present to everyone. I remember, between all of our discussing SRF there's been first questions and suspects regarding the upcoming GTS rating systems. And this is my question : When you look back to compare, did DR / SR affect your approach to online racing and experience ... and how ?
I am affected ...
So glad someone said it. I’ve always had a bit higher heartrate starting a qm, but in the dailies it’s unhealthy. I think it’s because you stand to lose rating, therefor risk getting lined up with the crash kids for the next month, and you’re not in control of your own fate. Someone might give you a shove and you’re on your way down. It’s snakes and ladders with many ladders traded in for extra snakesThank you, mates. Yes, things have changed - I'm actually thinking a lot about my own approach to the game, yesterday night I almost got a headache... it's been the reason for the post above.
I've never raced every ( QM ) event available, today I'm picking them even more.
I've invented the race day : I'm doing one race per race day max. There's a little economist inside calculating the time needed for qualifying and the count of races possible within the remaining time window. If the count is 5 or higher, I'm good to go ... crazy. Just hopping into races has disappeared atm.
There's not so much of a difference as soon as I'm on the starting grid. Ratings as some higher level instances do their job though, and I'm more careful today, I back off where I'd probably have risked an overtake a year ago etc. ... protecting what I've got. I haven't made overly bad experiences in Sport mode races since the very first days - still some angst is present every time. I'm not actually pleased with it - and it's less fun.
I've learned to not prefer any position in a race, which is a good thing. I still like running on front and I've never been more concentrated under pressure than nowadays( I'm ready for Cory ), I enjoy racing in any other situation as well ... as long as it's decent.
On a sidenote : To be honest I'm not sure what to think about DR / SR in general.
This game indeed has brought a lot of new aspects and sometimes I need to sort things out. Knowing about other peoples impressions and standpoints helps, so thanks again for your answers.
