I haven't read all of these posts but I think this is a good contribution people may find interesting. The 1968 Le Mans winning Ford Mark IV is no doubt a rare an very historic car as it was known for being the "All American" team that won and is the last time an American team has won outright. Now, I live in the metro Detroit area. The Ford world headquarters is in Dearborn and so is a museum called the Henry Ford Museum. That very 1968 Mark IV sits on display at that museum as it now has for a couple years. I actually walked by that car and took pictures of and with it for many years before actually realizing what it was (I was young) and as I learned about Le Mans and what the Mark IV I really appreciated what a feat the car was and how it truly, truly is one of kind, and it's right there locally on display. I always take the time to look at it every couple months when I go there. So if you really appreciate those kind of rare cars from the game or such historic feats in the racing / automotive world then stop by the Henry Ford Mueseum if your traveling through the Detroit area. I think they actually have a dedicated history of racing exhibit coming through the museum later this year to. But ya, thought that might interest somebody.
