An album is in the works.

By March 25, 2011, Black hired a publicist and a manager, Debra Baum. In an interview with The Sun, Black said that she is recording a new song for possible release as a single. She is currently working without a record deal. She also said that she is preparing materials for her debut album at Flying Pig Productions studio in Los Angeles containing songs with themes similar to that of "Friday", as she wants it to be "appropriate and clean."

Honestly people, is this any worse then the thousands of other pop, pop/rock, christian rock, rap/hip-hop artist that have owned the airwaves and claimed billions of dollars in the past 30 years? Its all in the same category for me.

That dude in the interview is smart and hes making bank and a lot of people that go to him are making bank. We don't even have to buy their music for them to bank off of us. Just the fact that millions of people acknowledge their existence and some of which actually like the music (kids obviously not pimple faced teenagers and pompous adults) allows them to reap profits. Oh and who ever that bitch is that is doing the interview should never ever take part in another one. What a terrible interview.

The picture was obviously only meant as a joke by a person who can't spell "Thirsday" apparently (or some other words) So I'm not sure if he/she actually does research before firing up PhotoShop. Looks like more money and time was spent on her hair and make up for the Katy Perry video than all the time combined for the Friday video...including the time it took to write the song.
