It's a very elegant looking car, it even looks faster than its rivals. I certainly hope not though! There's some very interesting bits to this car, especially the front end with the intake on the underside of the nose and another on the top. Even the "finger" nose has some complexities to it:
*snip*
Because the regulations demand it. Low noses aren't the only things that have changed - front wings are narrower, the exhaust outlet is positioned to make blown diffusers difficult (if not impossible) to achieve, and the rear beam wing is gone. The new engine regulations make cooling a priority, demanding changes to the sidepods. Why change something that Works so nicely?
The less ugly.Best looking car in the grid.
That's (painting the front end black) a pretty clever and effective way to make the nose extension more subtle, less distinctive and eye-catching (can't find a single word to describe it).
You mean the front carbon thing in the nose? Are camera wings supposed to be mandatory on booth sides near front suspensions?Looks like a camera to me and it probably is if you guys look they don't have the two front bars like everyone else and it's completely smooth.

I wouldn't think it's a camera as there's no lense visible there. One idea being thrown around is that it leads towards the duct on the top of the nose cone. The duct on the underside is probably for driver cooling, as has been seen on a few cars over the last couple of years.
I'm unimpressed. It looks like an RB9 with a 2014 nose. It's nice, but I'm more interested in some of the other designs that have tried new things.
Clever painting the nose grey (leaving the CF bare)
