Finally got in, and I have to say, it's very easy! I suck at driving, and it's my first time driving the X2010, but I still managed a time of 1:20 with a controller on my first try (I spun out several times) XD I now have 7 million cr.!

loaded up the game after being awake nearly all night from watching the FD and the the F1 and saw the times so I just decided "**** this, I'll just use the controller"

Been months since I used the DS3 and I was all over the place in the first corner and getting invalid times before I even got onto the straight, lol.


Stuck on the G25 then and got a 1:11 on my first lap and I haven't even bothered trying to gold the vettel challenge yet... might try that now that I'm after waking up abit more and some motivation for it actually.


Nice easy money especially as I know have 8 million again after buying a few cars and modding them and have enough now to buy 3 or 4 cars I haven't got already in the OCD

Yeah, I don't think it's meant to be hard. I think if you're in the 1:04, that's the zone for golding the Vettel Special Event at this track.

Compared do the RB Challenge, this will be a walk in the beach. Maybe it's a way to apolizige the poor DS3 players who smashed 20 controllers doing that challenge (me not included, I glitched Suzuka)

Why my times are much better here than in the challenge? The SRF is off and the tires are medium...BTW I made 1:07:XXX on first try with DS3...

Just noticed that with the ABS off and a 10/10 brake distribution/force, brakes don't have enough strength to lock tires on this car.

I did 1:24 on the third lap after a glass of wine, that's it 5 million easy, I know my time sucks and my G27 is rumbling like there's an earthquake even after I set the ffb to 1

Easy credits. Time is the most un-important thing to me. The car is crazy. If you drive it some time you have to learn to drive with other cars again.

Interesting - I'm on a 1:08.1xx, which isn't so much better than my best lap 2 on the Challenge (1:06 ish, I think.) which added to the first lap was a total of 2:14 something.

i just did 1:08:005, i seem to remember my skills two months ago
i don't think there is any difference with mediums, yeah, you sometimes burn rubber but does not affect the grip at all, the X1 has unlimited

On my first clean lap I managed 1:11.2 and claimed my 5 million. Ridiculously easy event but then again, I think the times are made so anyone can win, so we can all enjoy the celebration. 👍

Once you can drive the X2010 you'll never forget it. I haven't used it in a while and golded it first try with a 1:06.

Ridiculously easy. Car felt a little different to which I remembered, probably because of the different tires. Anyway thanks PD for the 5 million cr. I think PD is giving us the opportunity to win so much money for little effort due to the release of spec II in a couple of days.

On a different subject I'm really feeling exited about Gran Turismo again - like I was with the release of the game. 2.0 looks fantastic and hopefully it will bring some more life into GT5.

It does so with my DFGT wheel. Try turning down the strength of the force feedback.

Well I had amazing fun spinning the first corner repeatedly in this over-rated waste of pixels...I guess I'll jist have to grind in a car that is actually worth driving to get 5,000,000cr

Won't help. It drives very different. The only way to learn how to drive the X1 is using the X1

Were you already used to fast race cars with grippy tires?
In my case I had to retrain my mind a bit because I was used to ~450PP cars with comfort soft or sports hard tires at most.
