It should be in the community section of your gt life page. Maybe a red circle with a star in it, click on that, receive the gift and it should be there.

I suck. So if I can get gold, anyone can. One question though, if I do it again and get under 2:25, do I get 2,500,000cr again?

You can only get the payout once. If you gold it, you get all three (good, silver and bronze payouts), and thats your lot.
 
1:13 flat on the first run. I'm I the only one who's thinking PD is handing out cash so we can buy the new stuff coming in Spec 2 like those 2011 NASCARs perhaps?
 
1:13:xxx with DS3 with some possible improvements. But hey, why? 5,000,000 easy credits. Thanks Seb. Vettel, I mean, congratulations Seb. - two-time champion. :D

I can't drive the X2010, I'm hopeless with it, but even I got gold on this, with a 1.15 lap. If I'd known it was going to be that easy I would have wasted some money in the OCD as I already had over 19million in credits. It was good fun though.

Just managed a 1:06.7 with a DS3. quite happy with that cos I sucked at the Vettel Challenge..
 
Sweet. I'm sitting on 20 million in anticipation of Spec 2 on Tuesday ... this $5 million is like money in the bank.

Anyway, too bad this event isn't repeatable. Anyone having trouble getting gold and using a controller, set your controller sensitivity higher. Driving with it set to zero is insanity, the car just doesn't respond.

The car responded way too much with the D-Pad. I needed to set the Sens to -2 ;)

Wow a pad player has gone top on this event. Shame there is no replay though. 1:03.387 is the time to beat for pad and wheel users.

Good to see new names in this event. Will give this a go tomorrow and see how I do.

The opposite for me, no SRF and a fixed car makes me want to try the event more. This event is also the easiest 5 million credits you can get too.
 
Took 5 laps to complete 1 without going off or hitting something. It was a 1.19 so I stopped. Only did it for completion, and for the credits. Really don't care for open wheels or for this car in GT5. It's supposed to be driven computer-like, memorizing every spot and never going over the limit and that bugs me.

Anyway, can't see how you can complete a lap with the pad without crashing, let alone do a 1.03...

Bit suspect this, no replay & quicker than consistently quick top 10 wheel drivers using a DS3. Let's hope not another cheat to ruin a great event.

I knew I should have done the Vettel challenge after all, as it would come in handy one day. I've tried it twice, and simply couldn't keep that car on the track, both attempts were invalidated. Had enough of it, at least for now. :lol:

This and the fact that it shows him getting most of the trophies in GT5 on the 31 December 0001 19:00:00 EST. Just checked now.

PD should be able to remove cheats that have maybe hacked profiles. Hopefully there is no big glitch that anyone can do. I'm interested to see how the Spec 2.0 update will workout as they said they have improved the physics. Surely that will affect this event?
 
I looked for the guy in 1st places replay to give me something to chase... Figures he cheated...
