First time I see that word here.
Everybody calls it college.
Another word they change. As always.

There is a difference between a college and a university.

Just like there is a difference between apologize and a apologise. Only different.

There must be, even though I dont know.
What I was referring to is that odds are that you are going to hear more "I am going to college" than "I am going to the university".

Proven fact people in Quebec use less anglicisms (words that come from English, in case you didn't know what it meant) than people in France. So the French bastardize french more than we do.

****ing American.

Crap, all that French/France **** got my post messed up. Congratulations.
I hope you know I was joking.

the difference between college and university is huge man.
college is very hands on, and deals with more technical stuff i guess you could call it? 3d animation, computer programming, mechanics, these are mostly college type things though universities may touch on them.
university on the other hand is more based around the books...people look a bit more highly on it, but with college, it's easier to just jump in and get a job in the field you are interested in because of how hands on it is.

i'm doing information technology in Ryerson University...the school used to be a college so they still hold to their college roots. i know alot about networking and electronic equipment but i figure some theory in this case wouldn't be a bad thing to learn.

hopefully that cleared a bit up for you
