yeah it is. I saw that and am looking to join, should be good although IMO multi class would've been better.

cms race was fun last night, who was in the GTP Porsche?

That was me. Was way under practiced joined 30 minutes before qualifying and had that much time to slap together a set up and learn the track.
I'll blame that on my relatively poor performance.
Luckily everybody else was performing even worse than me. Ran up to second until we had about 5 minutes to go and the computer froze up.

And yes, the enduro is with EnduRacers.

Seriously considering creating a mod. I mean, how hard can it be?

With no previous experience? Very. You really need to know your 3DS Max and XML language to make a good one. I'm sure there are some people on this forum that have done it in the past.

I think that creating the actual 3D Model would be the only truly difficult thing for me as I'm not all that artistically inclined.
I for the most part understand how the sound files work, and there are plenty of guides for the physics. I understand the XML stuff and there are guides for what I don't.

Creating a 3D model is a pain in the bad a-word, if you don't have any experience it wll take a while to create your first proper mod.

You know far more than I do. What are you thinking about making?

I was thinking maybe a Porsche 356 or a 550 Spyder.
But I'd be open to others if someone were to give me a model haha.

Me and my brother were going to..lol. That's exactly what I thought.

Anyways...does anyone have the F1 1994 mod or the 1994 track pack? I can't find the track pack
Anywhere.

I've got a couple ideas...
I might be able to handle it.

MSI Afterburner is good quality, and hardly hits the FPS when capturing.

If you wanted just audio, you could open up CoolEdit, and get a 3.5mm-3.5mm cable to connect you speaker and microphone jacks together.

Hmmmmm.
I have Afterburner 2.2. Poked around in it for a little bit but could not find the capture part of it?

If you click on settings down the bottom, the video capture settings are to the right of the screen capture tab.

If it won't record your sound (like it did for me), I'd recommend Bandicam, which can record up to 10 minutes in its free version.

You know what the problem is that I can't see the very top of that window and I have no idea how to adjust the size of it. :banghead:
Will try bandicam.

Hey folks so I just got a G27 to replace my aging DFP and in the box a copy of rFactor was included (I'm assuming its the full game). I can't try anything out yet because I'm waiting for the shifter mount for my racing seat to arrive, but when I do I'd like to give it a shot.

The reason I got the G27 is to get into iRacing as I don't have time to practice on go karts as much anymore (I have a race car/team), so I value realism. So in that respect I'm just asking for any advice and tips on where to start. I'll probably be spending most of my time in GT cars, but those 90's F1 cars seem like they'd be good for an occasional thrill, and the 1930's gp cars wow!

I would start here with the F1 Classic 2.3 mod http://f1classic.your-talk.com/

LOVE that mod. Just crank the sound ALL the way up and and start lapping on the old Spa.
I also highly recommend EnduRacers and the greatest mod of all time on all sims, World Sportscar Championship 1970.

Just a heads up, that rFactor disk is just a 40 minute demo. You need to purchase the full game after your forty minutes is up.
