Grrr after multiple attempts the game auto-loads a race I was on whatever option i choose, it goes back to a street race in TOCA cars, if I select practise it just takes me to that saved race...

Yep. Re installed 3 times in different locations.

Do you use Windows 7? If yes, try running the game as administrator. rFactor seems to have a lot of strange bugs in Windows 7 without admin privileges.

I had that with the demo, the first car and track I chose became the default so no matter what I chose after that it was back to the same selection, it also refused to save any settings I changed. I had to run the game with admin privileges and it was fine after that.

Tryed out alot of new mods today:

Lola B09/86: Overall, great handling cars and accurate paint schemes. My biggest complaint is the Sound. Who seriously got the idea to just take every damn car and slap on the Mazda? Even the Lolas that had Aston Marton Powerplants or Judd Powerplants had Mazda sounds. I really want to strangle the moron who did that.

ARCA Mod: Really impressed with this mod. Physics are great and awesome sounds. It also included some tracks as well, including Daytona pre-repave.

FIA GT3 2010: Lots of fun this mod. The Mercedes was abit difficult to drive while the ferrari (the 458) was a blast to drive.

Mac, you might want to run the rFactor Config executable. I had been running at 800x600 resolution for awhile until I realized that. Promptly changed it to 1280x728 and it now looks MUCH better.

It should be in your root folder.
"rf Config.exe" Is what it's called in mine.

The in game graphic settings, are under Customize, then settings, display.

Than you can change all the graphic settings.
