Thanks. Yeah, the HistorX cars can be fun on it. Wouldn't recommend something like the Astons though, they are not made for tight corners like that.

Just in case someone still cares.
I have now real life footage from the road, bottom to top.
A friend of mine filmed it. So I can now add more details.

Latest version:

Was that a Rally car(Maybe a Ford Focus) being driven?

Thanks! Hard to say, because I didn't work on it for 2-3 months in between. I guess it's close to 100 hours though. I'm kinda sad that I haven't made screenshots from the very early versions, my goodness that looked horrid.

100 hours is not that bad considering there is only one person working on it and also has to live family life some good skills there buddy . no doubt you let us all know when complete , i for one cant wait :)

Hehe, thanks. Well, I am not completely alone, renntom from gtr4u.de built me the hotel and the guardhouse (W.I.P.) on top of the 'mountain' and I'm not sure if it's really just 100 hours. But it's a good motivation to read posts like yours. :)

Here's another video, latest version with some minor updates:

Not sure if u can swear on her but ****in..g hey that map looks bad ass and cam 's too look really good & the scoob i think i just creamed my underwear

:cheers:If you can hold yourself back , because you are flying on this for a december 24th release that be a nice presant the Rfactor track santa :D

I'm indeed trying to release it this year, because I made such a huge progress last week. One of the buildings still needs work and someone else wanted to edit the materials for me. So I'm not sure how long it will take.

Kinda crazy to be honest. I started this project just for fun and to learn something, didn't want to release it at all in the beginning. :D

Holy crap

Best crash I've ever seen, that just came out of nowhere.

Found a very nice Le Mans mod by SimDriveItalia! GT2 cars restricted to 150mph, LMP's around 190mph. Practicing with my BMW M3 GT2 car as well :D

Keep at it matey , makes a change to the formula tracks i use for rfactor your track looks really narrow and will make a huge diffrence in speed sensation :dopey:

I'm looking to buy this game, and I just want to hear your opinions on it. Also I want to know how much the game will probably cost, and if it is worth buying. Thanks.

If anyone is interested, the track they are racing on in that last video was the Transfagarasan Road, the one that the TopGear boys were looking for in Romania. That version is the downhill version: http://www.rfactorcentral.com/detail.cfm?ID=Transfagarasan

You forgot to mention how much fun it is to go just a little bit faster than you think you should before you learn the layout, it's also a very well-made track, probably one of my favourites. All I seem to do on rFactor now is point-to-point tracks, it's great fun.

Two bizarre glitches from two separate mods.

Audi R18 - AI cars when they accelerate suddenlt just take off in the air, and bounce around like the road is a trampoline? What can be wrong with that?

Toyota TS030 - Very slow to load, and whenever it hits the wall or another car (player or AI) the game briefly stutters like the CPU is taking a massive drop or something?

Anyone have an idea what is up with these?

Just got your visitor message.
Can't help you though, because I have no idea about physics.
I have the first issue with both the Audi R18 and the Aston DBR1-2.

No idea abouth the Toyota, never downloaded it because the 3D model looks horrid.

You guy's looking for great F1 mods?

the best i have tried is the WCP 2012 mod hands down! i'm lucky to be a beta tester but the mod will be out very shortly, i am a huge f1 nerd so i am pretty picky about what mods i play, so i thought i would share their content on here, i would highly reccomend you check them out.

they are also doing a 2012 trackpack, good FPS and visuals.

Going to dive into that HDV to solve this, reckon its either suspension or body aero. Literally the moment the car hits a bump takes off it goes just vertically in the air.
