I've just installed the Endurance Series. I remember having fun with that on my old computer. Oh yeah, I definitely want to get WSC 1970.

Doesn't HistoriX require GTL to install? I don't have GTL.

F1 Classic Reloaded? Haven't heard of it, but I'm intrigued.

If you use 7 Zip, that will allow you to extract the contents of the HistorX installer.

F1 Classic Reloaded is an unofficial update for F1 Classic, an F1 1967 mod.
Many people didn't like the old version I think because it used GPLegends models and the original creator refused to admit this. This new version has the blessing of both the creator of the mod and I believe the creators of the GP Legends versions.

Damn, decided not to run HistorX race that's going to be run tomorrow. Turns out Bryan Heitkotter is running it. :banghead:

Got my controller fixed. All I had to do was to use it as an XBOX controller, rather than a PS3 controller.

Only problem now is the steering rate which is crazy. Even with 10% deadzone and very low sensitivity the car still steers too rapidly.

I am indeed.

I've tried the PS2 pressure sensitive and PS3 SIXAXIS options, but neither in F1 2010, Dirt 3 or rFactor can I use the L2 and R2 switch buttons as pressure sensitive buttons.

I've read somewhere that using the DS3 as an XBOX360 controller on the PC might fix it, but I haven't tried that yet.

I was using the right stick for throttle and brake in F1 2010, but that's kind of hard with the Endurance Series mod when I need to blip the throttle on each downshift in order for the car not to choke and spin out on corner entry braking.

Believe it or not, the Xbox 360 settings are the only way the PS3 remotes work. I don't know why, but all the buttons actually work when you enable them.

Cool but why they are doing an Aston Martin LMP1? We already have that, in Enduracer mod with an addon at F1C by Gpfan. It's even a scrach made model (made by GutZ,Ghanja converted by Diromo) and the quality is not bad at all.

Sometimes I just don't get them, oh well, their mod their life.
Go ahead Endu do what you want.
Thanks anyway.

I understand what you're saying. But most leagues and whatnot are against using unofficial addons.
It will be nice for them to officially support this.

There's way too many burocracy in sim racing leagues. Real life burocracy is enough. This should be about having fun.

It's only partially that. The league owners know that EnduRacers puts countless hours into testing and balancing the cars to make for clean and fair racing. You can't be sure that some randoms modder has gone through that process with their add on.

I don't like politics either. I sim race to get away from that! In a way, there's just as many politics in the sim racing world as in the real world.

Isn't this advocating piracy, at least in principle?
BTW I was able to purchase a disc copy of GTL via Amazon for $4.99.

No. That CD check is just so that you're aware of the fact that they use the GTL models. It's out of respect for SimBin.

Where did you get this from? As I understand it the CD check is to ensure that SimBin gets paid for their work, not just acknowledgement.

Why do we do include that GTL DVD check?

Because we all love GTL, and SimBin deserves the biggest respect for such amazing simracing software. We want to thank them for its creation, which inspired us and allow all the community get a closer view of these amazing cars.
