For some reason, that Carbon Fiber actually brings out the colors alot better. Looks cool.

Great work RACECAR, the Aston Martin is my favorite as the BMW looks a bit naked in comparison.

Do agree About the BMW, but that really is what the little car looks like (same goes for the black one): Just basic with M Logos and a colored Wing.

And glad you guys like the Aston Martin.

Dude if you want to race a porsche in rfactor get the PCC 2007 mod. It's easily the highest quality mod available on rfactor. It makes enduracers look like a joke, especially as far as physics go. And the graphics are spectacular as well.
Great mod, BUT AI cars behaviour on kerbs are wrong, I hate when they bounce on two wheels or even rollover because of too stiff AI suspensions. And I hate those reflections on rear wing support so I removed it, sorry. I'll no longer keep mods I won't use or my hdd will explode. I'm sure you have good leagues with that, but for single player, just skip it. And PCC doesn't have the 997 GT2/GT3 Spec , so why someone have to stop using that and run only with the Cup car? Just because they are booth Porsches?
For FFB I found my way with GT3 2010 mod by Sandrox.

Anyone know how to get rid of the shinyness? Tried a tutorial I found, it didn't work.

Talking about the FLM.

I think it has something to do with Alpha Channels or whatever those are?

We're gonna have a whole fleet of GTP liveried cars for CMS. 👍

Need some more time with the F430, encountered some bugs.

Playing with a DS3 now too, yey for rumble and more precise sticks!

Are you guys playing with a disc version or a torrent? I know torrents are frowned upon, but I can't seem to find a copy any where legally except one on Ebay.

There are download links on the rFactor site. Download the free demo, then purchase the game through the demo. 👍

If anyone wants to use my Epsilons for a league, send me a PM. I'd prefer that both cars get used.

I could make two cars in the same team. Will take some more time then but it's not difficult. A #72 and a #Whatever for terrible1fi. The #72 with blue sidemirrors and the other with red. Would need some driver names for the second car though.

I purchased a DVD version awhile back at FRY's. I guess they dont have that store where you live... They should put up rfactor on Steam or soemthing like they do with GTR Evo

Where do you guys download your mods from? I've been using Rfactor Central but it takes forever for me to download from them..

I've used rfactor central, nogripracing and virtualr.net. Other than that it's been various modder's sites.

This applies to me as well. Never really had one go-to place for downloading mods.

How about settings on a Logitech G27? Any recommendations? This is starting to frustrate me... Thanks.

^Use RealFeel, set Force Feedback ingame to -70% or so.

Thanks just did that. Anything else? Like the deadzone and all that stuff? That's what's confusing me..

Deadzone should be 0, because that basically determines how much input the sim should ignore. Maybe a little is ok, but I personally have no deadzone at all because unless you're driving a muscle car or something with a lot of play in the steering the tiniest movement should make some difference.

As for linearity, that should also be 0, that effectively determines the 'acceleration' of steering, I think it's really more for gamepad users because it gets harder to control how much you're moving an analogue stick the further you are from the central position.

I can't remember what the other settings are, let me check.

Edit:

Ok, here's what I have:

Rates
20%
100%
100%
100% (these first four are for digital buttons)
60%
0%
100%
25% (the last four are all defaults, I've never touched them).

FFB
Wheel
Medium (I thought I had it set to high, but it's a matter of preference)
-80% (some mods have reversed FFB, so I swap it to 80% and it's usually fine, this is also a matter of preference)

Controller
Sensitivity all 50%, therefore fully linear.
Deadzone all 0%.

This is with a G27 and it all works fine, hope that helps.

Basically all the stuff under Rates, Force Feedback, and Controller 1 are confusing me..

Thanks Neema, but I don't know, that just doesn't feel right to me, it almost feels like the wheel is trying to do a full rotation even if I just turn it slightly..
