Anyone tried out the new Project D update?

Any drift fanatics, I highly recommend you download it if you like JDM style drift cars.

I got that the day it came out, I think, so far I've only driven the NSX as close to stock as possible so I wasn't trying to go sideways, but the mod looks like it's very high quality. I'll give it more of a go tomorrow, to be honest I totally forgot I had it.

Try out a few other cars, and put a few upgrades on them and the car should be able to drift 👍

That mod blew my tiny little mind. The sound and the speed... Incredible!

Same here :)
Having trouble with the feedback though...Can't feel any FFB on the centre to 30degr.

Can I fix something in the Reelfeel folder to make my wheel (CSR-Elite) "heavier"..?

Yeah, I was using street tyres instead of the default drift ones because I wanted to try an NSX in stock form on rFactor, I haven't seen any other NSX mods except for the SuperGT one, which hardly counts.

Sorry, I have no idea, I'm pretty sure there are different FFB settings in the upgrades menu but beyond that I don't know anything about Realfeel, I don't even have it myself.

I'm using a G27 so it may be different with Fanatec wheels, but i use Realfeel & Leo'sFFB. I used the settings advised for the Enduracers mod from the configuration settings on the Enduracers website, but make a copy of the original file before you change anything just in-case. The only other advice i can give is to look on NoGripRacing or F1 Classic forums.

I'm also using leo's + Realfeel with Enduracers settings and the steering lock for example makes worlds of difference, I though maybe there is something similiar for "strenght"..
I'll check Nogrip when I get the chance, been seeing that name come up several times now ;)

When using cars from Enduracers it feels fine, same with the Megane's or WTCC but the DRM-revival is not as it should..

Wish I could find some templates, otherwise I'd love to take the ones I made for PCARS and transfer them to rFactor. Oh well, Just did some laps and it was fun, beastly coming on throttle out of a corner but it is awesome. Going to upload a video of my lap later on.

Edit: Now, I wish to know where to find this:

Damn, its a site I have to join in order to download :grumpy:

I'll just make an account their as I don't feel like going through a million pages of google searching for it.

Edit: Turns out I actually didn't need to as I found it here :dopey:

However, I need a password to extract the files :odd:

F1 Classic is a great site, worth joining.

This add-on for Enduracers mod is excellent, you get the BMW M3 GT2, Aston Martin V8 Vantage GT2 alongside others in P1 etc. Just below the link for the mod there is also a Lamborghini GT2.

Unfortunately i can't race these cars in the CMS World Championship:grumpy:

I +1 the part about F1 Classic. It's the rFactor equivalent of GTPlanet with looser mods.

A lot of mods there are conversions from other games though. Pretty sure that add-on for the Enduracers mod features cars from Shift and GRID.

Both FIA GT1 and GT3 mods from Sandrox feature cars from Shift too.

On purpose not exactly like the old original 787B livery.
What do you think?

The intake on the side of the car (the part that goes inside) should be yellow all the way if possible otherwise it looks strange IMO.

I know what you mean, unfortunately I can't do anything about this, it automatically paints everything underneath the panel.

So I think I may have found the steering sensitivity settings (Which has helped alot with my driving on this sim). What I think would really help me improve and leave me more confident in driving is where the throttle sensitivity settings would be. I find myself having to tap the throttle to keep RPMs up on certain cars just so I don't spin out coming out of corners.

It's all in the same settings menu (Settings->Controls->Advanced or something like that). You have to calibrate the axes, pretty easy thing to do.

Which of those axes would be Throttle? I found the Steering just fine, its just Throttle I'm looking for.

Completed this Livery yesterday:

That's not an axis, so you can't change the sensitivity.

Damn.

Guess I'll just have to find some way to dial out the torque oversteer I get with some cars, but I have no idea how.

Edit: Wait a minute. Maybe messing with the Digital Throttle rate could help?
