Would the Epsilons be eligible? I could add on a couple driver names if need be.

Maybe.
I doubt anybody would drive them though.
The prototypes aren't very popular around here for some reason.

I plan on running a car or two in the next RDLMS next season.
Just waiting announcement.
Would anybody else be interested in sharing a car?

You know I'm onboard for that.

Well, let's get organized and do it. If we can find a server we can adjust to its track/mod requirements, we are talking "fun" here. Eventually we can formalize something. I have my old PC, not sure if it makes the cut as a server, but if needed we can try and set it up if I am helped. We can't just talk about it, we could be having some fun NOW.

PS; this site invited me some time ago, it looks like they have room to grow. I will contact them and get back to you, please research as well: http://www.simracers.pl/

I would definitely love to do some GTP racing!! Specially the Sandrox/GPFan GT3 1.3 mod!

I'd be interested in the GT3 mod it has a great selection of cars, I personally would have to go for the Mclaren MP4-12C GT3 car.

The DRM mod has some legendary cars in too, one of my favorite mods on rFactor.

I'd go with any of the cars in that mod! They all rock!
I've never tried DRM, might give it a shot!

I travel during the week, I'll see what I can find out by next weekend.

Blaze can help you with that, he's got a good understanding on how to set it up.
and the weekend sounds good to me!

OK, if Blaze could send me the basic information I could start today. Is a second rF license required, or can I use the one I have?

There's a GT3 mod?

If you haven't tried it yet the DRM mod is a monster, when the turbo kicks in on the Ford Capri it sounds unbelievably good.

What Nurburgring mod would you guys recommend? I'd like one close to the quality and realism of GT5's, I have two different ones installed from Rfactor central, but both don't feel "right". How about car mods as well? I'm not really big into open wheel or stock cars, I like GT cars, new and old. Any recommendations for either of my questions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks :)

@Voltaic: Thanks man.

I'd definitely be down for some DTM and V8SC racing!

Unfourtunately for rFactor and any other sims out there GT5's version of Nurb is by far the best there is! Hopefully someone will step up and make a laser scan of the Green Hell before it goes away.

Just downloaded this DTM 2012 mod it has the BMW, Audi & Mercedes, I've only tried the BMW so far seems a pretty decent mod. I followed their instructions though & used a fresh install of rFactor so it doesn't clash with other mods.

Ok, I'm gonna sound like a total noob here but how do I get a secondary install?

Just install it again in a new directory. For example instead of D:\Programs\rFactor - D:\Programs\rFactorDTM2012.

You have to download rFactor lite, it's free to download you only need to pay to activate it. Once downloaded copy the rFactor symbol(the one you double click to boot the game) that you have in your original root folder into your new rFactor lite folder, you still need your disc in the drive to boot up. Just copy over any plug-ins, tracks etc.

Get rFactor Lite from rFC. It comes with one car and a track, good for mods. I personally have 4 rFactor installs. (Main, F1 2011, Enduracers, HistorX GT)

EDIT: Tree'd.

I'll give it a shot, but do I really need to pay again for a game I already own?

That's exactly what I want to do!

No you won't have to pay as you have the disc version, you just have to copy the boot icon from your existing install into your lite install.

Tried out the 70s GT mod and its great! Nothing like trying to be like Steve McQueen blasting down the Mulsanne in a Porsche 917. The cars don't offer as much grip as modern race cars and are a much bigger handful, all are great fun! I still can't get used to the V8 Supercars mod though, they all feel like dump trucks..
