Sorry to be a pest, but I'm trying to find information on how to mod or create my own seasons and championships. I've downloaded the Enduranceracers mod, and a DTM 2009 mod, both of which have rfm files, that create events for me to select in my profile. I know how to edit those files to add locations to the events, but I would like to be able to create events of my own.

I have no idea, sorry. Maybe try searching it into google, and see if you can find it. I normally don't do season's, just any track and race. 👍
 
It's cool, thanks. I've been looking for hours now since yesterday. :lol: Seems like you really have to know the modding well to be able to do it. Best I can do is find a series I like, download some tracks I like, and add them to the series. Right now I already have the Endurance series and the DTM 2009 series, so that keeps me pretty happy.


Been disappointed overall though with the quality of tracks that people have created. I've downloaded a ton of them, and the physics and everything seem to be hit or miss.

Yeah I find the physics are sometimes a hit or miss too - but most of them time I'm happy. :)

Also try different settings on tracks, like higher graphics etc. I just love driving round my local track (Castle Combe) in F1 cars, which will never happen. :lol: Its just great to mix and match cars/tracks.

Edit: Also I mod that I really enjoy, with very fun but great handling is WTCC extreme

If you like DTM cars, you'll enjoy this mod. 👍

So I have searched quite a lot over the past few days looking through pages and pages of different rFactor forums, and I just don't see much talk about championships or seasons against AI drivers. Is this game almost exclusively played online? My race against the AI endurance series was a lot of fun, so I find this interesting not to hear more about this kind of thing.

Also downloading the classic F1 mod now. :)
 
No, no need to download anything! Just have the track and step in! The guys are still in there having fun!
