Fifth video, first of two featuring Car-to-Car comparison:

DBRS9 (FiA GT3 2010): Car is very solid, very easy to go aggressive with. Can brake very late and accelerate very well out of corners all while being stable.

Vantage (Blancpain Endurance Championship): Car is tricky to predict, somewhat sluggish in tight corners and slightly skiddish on brakes.

Last one coming not too long from now.

Do you not find that in GT3 2010 you can't hold small bits of oversteer? I remember the minute the rear broke loose that was it, you would spin round.

Only car I really had that happen with was the Lamborghini Gallardo. Other then that, not really.

Meanwhile, I finally managed a complete lap around the Nurburging. problem that again annoyed me was the framerate change. The GP circuit portion is a solid 40-50 FPS but for almost half of the Nordschleife portion, Frame rate drops to an sometimes choppy 20-30 FPS.

Ah okay well I prefer the BES cos it feels less aggressive under braking and more control.

Hey guys, over on F1C, the people that are making the ELMS 2013 mod have also started an ALMS 2013 mod :dopey:.

The P1 Lolas and HPD are available already in a beta release of sorts.

And finally, the last of the videos:

F430 Scuderia (Fia GT3 2010): Amazingly stable and very good to drive. Hardly any issues in handling.

458 Italia (Blancpain Endurance Championship): Also incredibly stable and good to drive, just that bit sharper in every aspect.

And with that, I'll now start posting videos from some of the other mods.

And another new series of videos from me:

While waiting for the Sony conference, I did some laps at Sebring in the LMP1 cars. Here's the lap times:

HPD ARX-03A - 1'48.211

Lola B12/60 Toyota - 1'50.943

Lola B12/60 Mazda - 1'51.499

Also did some at Road Atlanta in the P2 car:

HPD ARX-03B - 1'16.557

Will post my thoughts on their handling tomarrow, off to bed for now.

Well Its been a day (honestly I kinda forgot being occupied with trying to look for all the E3 GT6 footage ). Anyhow, my thoughts on the cars:

HPD ARX-03A

Car is inviting to drive, to the point where it sometimes temps you to push abit more then you need. A few times, I got greedy with the throttle just because I felt so comfortable and had to catch it when it got sideways. Its a car you can drive hard, but it will keep you in check if you get carried away. Good fun once you find that rhythm and once I did, the lap times got faster and faster.

Lola B12/60 Toyota (Rebellion)

Very good and stable to drive, can be pushed hard. Somewhat also able to keep you on your toes, just not as much. Brakes took abit to get used to as I actually would sometimes brake too early, even when I thought I was very late on them. Overall very good and quick.

Lola B12/60 Mazda (Dyson)

Just Horrible. You would think since its basically the same car with a different engine, it'd be somewhat similar. Its the complete opposite. The car is a nightmare to drive, way too tail happy. Whereas the other two would only go mad if you went overboard, this one seemed to overall not like being driven fast. I had to guess braking points,it sometimes went off the track in slow corners and it just repeatidly wanted to go sideways. Not at all confident with this car.

So that's my thoughts on the three. Anyone else?

Apologies for double post, but this is incredible. Main mod at F1classic, extra packs found there and more in video description.

And European Le Mans is released tomorrow! :D

200? How the hell does your rfactor not explode from having a mod with that many cars?

Its many more counting all the actual paint schemes. I'm already working on a new .rfm and dividing cars up into category. Essentially i'm creating a whole new series of mini-mods

For the last 3 add-on packs (LMPC, GT, GTC) I get a link to mediafire.com, not the files themselves. I can't download them :/

For ALMS mod? If so, its because they have not been released yet - GT is on the way firstly.

This was/is the most disappointing mod IMO. Enough so that I uninstalled it.
What it failed in, and what GT5 does well, is in making different cars 'feel' different to drive. As i prefer street cars with their quirks and limitations to modern (downforce generating) racecars, this was a bitter disappointment.

I like ti for the variety. Knowing me i'll try and tweak it a bit. Already created a Muscle category and a BritishGT category, going to do a Ferrari and Porsche one for sure... any idea's what else I should go for?
