If it's on F1classic, it's definitely on the TrippTeam server, once it's brought back online. It's been down since last night when I went to find a link to the mod.

Hello.

I leave a new episode of a series I'm doing for all circuits with different simulators, in this chapter teach Nurburgrin Nordschleife circuit, the circuit is larger than I imagined and it took more than 4 days, hope you like.

a greeting

So I downloaded the very handy GID plug-in today and one at a time I am getting it sorted. 1 thing bugs me though. On the rolling standings ticker it only displays up to the first 12 characters of the driver name (I changed my driver name to TOYOTA TS030 for this example), but as you can see, it cuts off the text. It even says "LengthName=12" on it. I've tried changing parameters in the plug in, but to no avail. Can anyone help? Pic attached below:

Is the TS030 maxing out at 314 for everyone else too?
I lowered the downforce as much as possible and used the highest gear ratio available, but I can't make it faster. It's pretty annoying not being able to hit 330+ in Le Mans.

Here guys:

In the TS030's HDV find and adjust these lines in the HDV, under driveline.

Gear1Setting=4
Gear2Setting=11
Gear3Setting=18
Gear4Setting=24
Gear5Setting=34
Gear6Setting=46

To make the car faster on the straight, just raise the gear 6 setting to these values. Enjoy.

Also, try in the HDV turning
BodyDragBase=(0.0) // base drag

Thanks, will try it out.
Cannot find the line with the BodyDragBase though.

EDIT: Now, the top speed is still 314, but the standard speed is 184, so no, that didn't help. :lol:

EDIT²: Fixed it. I re-installed it without the physics update included and now it tops out at 338 and the digital gauges also work finally.

I seriously suck at EnduRacers. I run with a Logitech pad, and at Bahrain was slow as hell in a 911, 10 seconds off class backmarkers.

Errr not sure, 2:30 something? I had raised drag on that car in HDV by 0.3 though, created a "GTE AM" class for reaaaally old cars, was an 04 Freisinger Yukos 996.

What's your lap times in the TS030, G.T.Ace?

The best lap I did at Le Mans was 3'43.336

Haven't done a full lap so far, will post as soon as I did.

@Furinkazen: Which version of the track are you using?

24hr one featured in this track pack.

Also can anyone help me with reccomended tracks for EnduRacers? I have severeal Le Mans intinerations, Virtua LM's Fuji, Sebring, Bahrain, anyone know of say a good Daytona Road? A sportscar Spa, Monza? Any other's you would recommend?

As long as they got room for 40 car grids, I am ok. I did 2 custom car rosters, 1 for 40 car races, and others for bigger events like Sebring and Le Mans with 50 car fields.

20 seconds to find, challenge accepted!

Just did a 3:36.007 with the TS030, lots of room for improvement.
Unfortunately, it's not possible to drive as aggresive as they do in real life.
I'm not sure if the curbs are too harsh, or if you have to take away too much downforce to reach a proper speed.

I think it's a matter of not being able to properly feel the limits of the car as you can in real life.

Yeah, but games should still be quicker, since there's no fear factor involved and you don't have the exhausting g-forces. Of course, the track model could be a bit off too (I'm actually sure it is). I have yet to see a single game properly simulating Le Mans and its cars. GT5 has the track model, but the physics system is struggling with the cars.

It had to be done..

Link to the track? I'd like to try it myself..
