And to you too sir!

If anybody is interested, Voltaic and I are driving in a race that starts in 1 hour.
It's 70 minutes long. Voltaic is driving an Acura and I'm driving a Porsche 997. EnduRacers mod at Magny Cours.

Here's a live timing link.
My name is Thomas Roth and Voltaic is Piero Favretti.

Grats on pole position gogatrs!!!

(78 minute race to be exact)

PS; I had a feeling you were going to pole, I recorded the lap. Mind if I UL it later?

I say I'm going to follow it every year, but I never end up doing so. Those guys are FAST.

Yeah they are. I tried a while back to get my lap times close to their poles on a few tracks. Practiced a ton, but these guys have too much time on their hands. :embarrassed:

Congratulations gogatrs for the pole and GT2 class victory!!!

Not sure if you had the fastest lap of the race, but I bet you got the Grand Slam!!!

Nice job Gatrs! For the Hot Lap Competition, i'm going to let Ace pick for this week, feels a bit odd for me to pick again. I'm also going to make a new thread as soon as he picks the car and track for this week in hopes of gathering more interest.

Hey rFactor's
I'm having some problems with my T500rs in this game. I want to get on with some drifting in this game but my Wheel gives me crazy bumbs and it should be able to spin "fluently" but it dont. Kinda spins in steps, or bumps, I have Project D mod, and RealFeel installed. I sat ffb steering force to about -75, and tryed switching between the different ffb effects: Low, medium, high and full, but it dosnt seem to have an effect on my issue. And off course i've put the t500 profile in game to.

Any help, would be appreciated! Its deffinalty not suppose to be this bumpy or steppy

Play with the FFB smoothing line in the RealFeel.ini

I lowered Wheel settings in the configuration manager : Spring and Damper to 0%, witch had a possitive effect not that it solved my problem tho. I'm testing in a 240sx (run free) from Project D, and have Reelfeel damper sat to max at 11500, and ffb at 1300 if I lower the ffb much more (witch gives more ffb) it nearly gets un-driftable with shakes and bumps pushing me of my line. There´s still bumps or "steps" with this setting, but due the ffb is very very low its not enough to put me off line, all tho it gives a week feel :(

Tryed playing with 0-9 (stock) ffb smoother witch did'nt give any real effect on my issue. What you recomend of values if I'd start playing with the .ini file anyway?

Edit: I'm NOWERE near having this effect, either in smoothness nor ffb:tdown:

^^Thats what it should look like.
But something must be way wrong at my place, cant find anything on this issue

I recently revisited one of my favorite mods, CTDP F1 2006. This mod is a must have, easily on of the best F1 mods in rF1, later coming to rF2;

So I'm chickening out of this week's challenge (That Lola Kicked my ass if I so much as even thought about her). However, I did manage this at VIR:

Burgess/Dyson: 1:40.213

Jackson: 1:38.987

In yo face, Chris :P

I'm now planning on challenging the Muscle Milk Team drivers to beat mah I'm gonna set in their car. Yeah I got my bum knocked into next week with the Trucks at Mosport, but nobody else is doing it so why not :sly:

Edit:

My time: 1'37.746

Now to record the video and see if someone wants to chase the rabbit ;)

Video being published and will be uploaded. Would love for one of you guys to tweet or send this to those teams. Will I get the snot knocked out of me on the time charts? Probably. If they at least acknowledge it, I'll go nuts.

Edit:

And there it is.

Now feel free to tweet this to the teams folks :)

Has Enduracers released any sort of fix yet for the Flat 6 Mod? As you guys know it keeps crashing for just about everyone who uses it. Nice lap Racecar!

It seems to slightly slow down whenever I try to use it, but it doesn't crash on me.

Which mod is this? I'm sure I don't have that car in my Enduracers install...

Its an add-on from F1classic.com (along with the Rebellion Lola, Dyson Lola, HPD LMP2s and the 2013 Porsches).

Oh awesome, thanks a lot!

EDIT: Mod looks like an unfinished mess, won't bother downloading it like this.
Should be awesome once it's done though.

Well, its yet another project that was going along well until mister gpfan decided to play moron again.

Does anybody use or heard of the 4gb patch you can run on the rfactor.exe? I was just wondering cause' since I installed it in my laptop RF runs amazing, no more ctd's. I'm interested if it has made anybody else's RF run better.

So does anyone know where I can find the most accurate version of Road Atlanta? The only one I found even remotely close was the one by Uzzi, but even that has some rough spots (like the esses being tighter then in real life, making full acceleration impossible).

Thanks for the reminder, totally forgot about this.

So tried to do some laps for a WEM vs Enduracers comparisons and got these times:

Monza:
Lamborghini Murcielago R-GT (Enduracers) - 1'53.019

Lamborghini Murcielago R-SV (WEM) - 1'52.133

Sebring:
Corvette C6.R (WEM) - 2'01.483

Corvette C6.R (Enduracers) - 2'01.509

What settings should I use to improve feel?
I find that the ffb feels like it's just a centering spring instead of actual ffb.

And what kind of car/mod should I get that makes you really get up on the wheel?

Something where you really have to manhandle it, a bit like a Groub B car but rougher.

Thanks. : )
