meeekal:
If I could reach through this screen and strangle you, I'd let up at the last moment, allow you to catch you're breath and do it again.
I noticed before clicking into this thread that an attachment had been added. I wrongfully assumed that Pako's pic was the only one attached.
Scared teh crap out my secretary, again. This thread is not good for my heart.
I'm going to have to ask Jordan to ban all pictures of spiders on his site. And So help me god, if one of you gets the idea of making that your avatar, I'll book a plane flight to whereever you are to kick your monitor in.
Ask my wife how paranoid I am. I was visiting her before we got married, and was flipping through a "Ranger Rick" magazine to find a double page layout of a tarantula. I went backwards over the dining room chair, breaking it in three pieces, the magazine landed on the other side of the room, and I gave myself a good whack on the head from running square into the wall.
All this stems from a childhood incident, that scarred me for life. I was about age 8, and late one evening, jumped into bed hit the light and started to slip into sleepmode. I felt something move on my leg, assumed it was the sheet, and continued on my sleep pattern. Moments later the sheet moved again. So I flipped on the light, threw back the sheets and found a Huge wolf spider sitting on my leg. (I've got severe shakes right now thinking about it). Everything locked up. I couldn't move, scream, or breathe. After a few moments, it shot off my leg and under the bed. Screamed like no tomorrow, and literally tore my room apart looking to kill it. Never found it. The result was that I finally passed out two days later from lack of sleep. It took months for me to even sleep in my room again. even then, I had to have a can of raid next to my bed, and I remade the sheets every night for almost a year.
So thanks Meeekal, I really needed a jolt to the heart this morning.
