Self explenatory. I can not get the tune to work in the Tommahwak X on Tokyo, so I need the second best race to grind. What are your findings? Cheers

700pp Le Mans. You can run a ton of different cars, on Easy mode you win easily… and most of all you spend most of the half hour without having to worry about the AI being able to ruin your race. Just stay between the white lines until you’re past everyone and it’s an easy 825k… with the bonus of setting up a car that isn’t the tomahawk.

Or Sardenga with NSX GT500 on Race Hard tires. Fuel Map 3 for first 8 laps and Fuel Map 1 on rest of them. It is a little bit less cash than LeMans but it is also quicker.
Yeah can win this easily with a group 3 with high turbo or detuned higher class car.

I almost treat it as time trial/practice whilst earning decent money.

Its been years since ive played Gran Turismo. By 700pp Le Mans, I assume you mean the WTC 700 Championship? When you reference Easy Mode, I assume you mean the assist settings on Beginner?

Go to sardegna or sarthe circuit, you'll see it as far right one off event.

I think you need to complete all the cafe menu, before you'll see it.

Go to options from main screen. You can select difficulty of opponents. Nothing to do with assists you choose.

Yeah, just don't worry about the pace of Portilla on the Viper on the first couple of laps, he will stop every 4 laps and is terribly slow on traffic, you don't have to overturn the gap to him in raw pace. Most of the times he doesn't even get second place by the end.

Sardegna is my favorite.
1. Having 800pp to play with allows you to drive more "fun" cars than the 700pp event.
2. I think money is better on Sardegna per minute. Issue with the Sarthe event is unless you can stop at the end, you might not time your finish well enough to the 30 minute mark. If you are still trying to push it for one reason or another and can't stop, you might have to drive another lap and significantly extend you race time.
3. Sarthe has penalties, Sardegna does not. That makes it a more fun race that you don't have to worry about every little thing.

I don’t get your fuel strat. Fuel map 3 is only 5 laps worth of fuel in a 15 lap race

I been using a tomahawk at LeMans, I'll run 7 laps and park it at the finish line until 30 minutes...then just cross the line.
I have a hard time running Tokyo constantly so this is kinda nice because I can get up and stretch and get some water, maybe a bathroom break in that 8-10 min window I have. Pulling to the line at the end of 7, usually puts me just over 2 laps ahead and at 30 they are just pitting for their final lap. Gives me a little balance and I don't rage at 30 seconds in penalties with the lap down cars.

NOTE** Make sure you have Inters. Wet's don't work on the Tomahawk anyway. Hydroplanes with them just the same. Track gets that wet. Park it to the side and wait for it to stop.

Haha yeah that's what I do too. It's a nice break from the intensity of Tokyo and parking it allows you to just chill for like 10 mins.

You can make 2.1 million a hour on Sardegna with the tomahawk, you will finish the race at around 18-20 mins, that being said the limit is 700 pp and you can do a legit build that will run a 25 min race .

I will probably quit the game after the tomahawk gets patched lmao. The main thing I like to do is tune random cars and take them out for a spin. Why can't PD just be happy people are enjoying their game and if people are doing that without interfering with anyone and ruining someone else's fun then does it matter what way they do it?
I hate so many dev companies these days. You buy a game and then the fun package comes at an extra cost. Its like the TV commercials where they show an awesome trailer then at the end when you got the guy/girl who reads out loads of small print to fast for you to here
"... not included & all types of fun sold separately, see our website for more details"

The second best is Tokyo itself but without a cheat car.

Heaven forbid you have to spend 10 minutes more to do Tokyo race legit. Must be unbearable.

It takes me just under 28 minutes with the R33 GTR and Praiano's rain tune (fuel map 1, pit on lap 8 or 9 for fuel only depending on how much fuel I burned, finish about 10-15 seconds ahead on normal difficulty). Now, if I want to not worry about rain or penalties, the Sardegna WTC 800 with a (legitimately) detuned Tomahawk S fits the bill nicely, though I can't remember where I got the tune from. On either fuel map 1 and 1 stop or fuel map 6 and no stops, it's an easy nearly-minute win on normal difficulty.

No, if you go to the le mans circuit and do the 700PP race on the right, it's a 30 minute race that nets you 825k, do this twice in the hour and it's 1.6 million

It IS unbearable. Monotonous, UNNECESSARY repitition, because of corprate greed. What is there to like?

I'm doing the sardegna race with the Zonda R. High RPM turbo and hard tires. Fuel plan on 5 to last five laps and pit twice. On easy, I lap the entire field, on hard, I win by about 15 sec, but could be better if I learn to avoid traffic a bit more effectively. The Sardegna race is quite nice, I've tried it with a bunch of different cars, but the Zonda is my go-to.

Every GranTurismo is like this. People are just incredibly materialistic and have a consumerist mindset. Decades of " collect em all" has ****ed our brains up .
Simply not true. I have all cars in almost every GT. GT7 is the worst...
